I have been charged twice, once on 11/22/22, (524.50), and once on 11/25/22, (324.50). I have been staying at Merced River Resort since June of 2022, and began paying bi-weekly rate, (500/bi-weekly), in July of 2022. I was in California working for Pacific Gas and Electric. My work was coming near finish, I did not know the exact date but I did know within a few days. I called the resort office 11/1/22 to give notice that I would be soon checking out of the park, I anticipated it would be near 11/15/22. The contract states that I only needed to give one week notice but I wanted to make sure there would be no issues. On 11/7/22 I called again because I was charged an incorrect amount. I was charged through the exact date of 11/15/22. I expressed to the front office that I was not certain of the exact date, but it would be near 11/15/22. I told them to charge me for the regular bi-weekly rate that I had been paying, and it would give me time after my last day of work to pack my things and leave, (11/21/22). On 11/18/22 I called the office to let them know that I still planned to be out on, (11/21/22), but was running into a couple issues and would let them know if something changed. They expressed to let them know as soon as possible if something changes as they did not want to lose business. I told them I would let them know if something changes and thank you. On 11/20/22, I stopped by the office to return my remote entry device and left the park. As noted above, I was then charged twice for two different amounts. I called to ask why I was being charged, and I was told I was charged for not giving a notice, I disputed and gave the dates and recited the contract expressed I must only give one week notice as a bi-weekly tenant. I was not refunded and I was charged again for 324.50 on 11/25/22. I have had numerous disputes with the park and its staff regarding changes in prices and automatic payments that I did not authorize. I simply want my money returned.
