I utilized Performance Settlement LLC starting in 2019 and had no issues with anything that was being done. One of my debts had an offer letter in January of 2020 and the company sent an overnight check (per the final statement I was given), however I never received confirmation that it was in fact paid in full based on the discounted amount. Now fast forward to 2021 when I found a weird company name on my credit report that says I owe them money, so I called the number and sure enough they tell me I owe the original creditor the full amount. I have been going back and forth with the original creditor and the collection agency trying to get this resolved. The phone number for Performance is now answered by ***** and they don't have any information for my account and the only proof I have of anything is an offer letter and a statement that says a check was sent. The original creditor says that offer should never have been given and that they did receive that amount of money but won't tell me when they received it or who sent them the money. The collections agency says I sent money to them and that makes it look like I agreed to the debt. I never sent them any money. I have no idea how to get this resolved or how to find this company to get it resolved.

I paid **** for Performance Settlement to pay off a ************ account in 2016/2017. The monthly statement showed that these payments were supposedly made. I am receiving correspondence from an ************************** that says these payments were not received even though I paid for them. Please help!

Me and my husband used performance settlement llc to ***************. We were done with the program and thought everything was settled. Recently we got a let from a creditor saying that we still owed money to them. I have tried to contact Performance settlement but no luck. When I dial the performance settlement number a company called swift informed me they have been assigned to handled their accounts. however, no one there can help me it seems.

We used Performance Settlement starting in 2017 to help us pay off some credit cards. They supposedly settled and paid all 8 credit cards and everything was finalized in June of 2021. However, it has been brought to our attention as of 3/3/2022 that one of the Capitol One credit cards ending in #**** was never paid off in the settled amount of $3335.00 even though Performance Settlement's documentation says it is. We spoke to *********** on 3/3/2022 and the amount is in fact still outstanding and they cannot speak to us regarding the account because there is a "cease & decist" order on the account. We have reached out to Performance Settlement and left multiple phone messages as well as emails and have not heard back. One of the phone numbers associated with the company ended up being someone's personal home land line and I spoke with her and she said she has had multiple phone calls for the past 7 years from people looking to speak to Performance Settlement. We do not know what to do from this point. We have paid the money to this company, but they did not pay the money to Capitol One. Now it is showing up as a revolving account on our credit report that we still owe it. Our Client ID# with them was *********.

***************************** enrolled with Performance Settlement on 8/16/2018.
7 ACH payments from ************** were made from 9/11/2018 to 3/8/2019 for a total of $1,682.80.

Once some funds were built up in **************** trust account, the negotiator was able to get a 3 payment settlement set up on the Barclays account enrolled.
The settlement payments were to be made as follows: 1 payment on 2/20/19 for $918.50 .. 1 payment on 3/15/19 for $133.75 .. and 1 payment on 4/15/19 for $133.75.  The 2/20/19 &3/15/19 payments were made according to the agreement.

Then on 4/1/19, ************** called & advised he had a garnishment (on an USAA acct - not enrolled in the program) that he was paying $350 monthly on & that he was going to be unable to continue with payments.
Because the April ACH was not sent in, we were unable to pay the last settlement payment, causing the settlement to be voided.
The representative ************** spoke with on 4/1/19 suggested he complete a Budget Analysis to figure out his standing so we can help keep him on track, but client declined not wanting to cover any of that information. Explained he was in a settlement and one payment was needed to finalize the settlement with Barclays but we would need a draft this month and by a specific time-frame. Client did not want to cover his options since he would have no access to funds this month. Client understood his settlement would be voided if we did not get final payment out.

Since the payments were made to Barclays (total paid was $1,052.25) for settlement, there are no funds remaining to be returned.
Per **************** cancellation request, his file has been cancelled from our program since 4/2/2019.
