I purchased items from RVCA *** on May 24 2023. On August 29 I realized I had never received my items. I emailed RVCA asking for an update on the order status. They did not reply. On Oct. 26 I remembered that they had never replied to me, so I sent a follow up email asking for status of my order and requesting a refund. They replied saying that I was now outside the time limit for refunds. So RVCA *** took my money, did not deliver the goods, and would not give me a refund.Initial Complaint

I am writing this on 12/28... Christmas was 3 days ago. I purchased a sweater from RVCA online and gave it to one of my friends for Christmas. The size was too large, I live a few hours from this individual so I contact RVCA about an exchange or return. They offer $20 under what I paid as a refund and tell me I need to send it from my location (again I am hours from her) and then I would need to purchase again with the correct size... So, I get $20 less than what I paid for the initial item... I paid $54 they are refunding me $34... so in their logic I have to now drive to her house instead of just sending a label via pdf and me getting it to her like a normal company in 2022 would do. I then get my $20 less refund and then I get to spend $54 more to get the correct size because they do not offer exchanges. This is scam, I am pretty certain this is a violation of several consumer laws and is an absolute joke of customer service.Initial Complaint

I made purchase of multiple exclusive, on sale items 9/12/22 with a discount code provided to health care workers (which I provided a copy of my medical license to the company to obtain). I wait patiently for 3 weeks for my package to arrive after I get a shipping confirmation. When on 9/30 I see that *** has reported my package "damaged," I reach out to the company's customer service to let them know. I am bothered by the fact that had I not been tracking my package myself, this may not have ever been noticed, as nobody reached out to me. I get a **** email stating the company would process my refund because the package was destroyed. When I ask about my coupon code, they send me a link to another code that has different terms from the one I was initially sent (not applicable to many items) and when I point this out, the company states that that is not true and tries to gaslight me into thinking my original coupon did not apply to sale items when the items I originally purchased had been on sale. I ask for my complaint to be escalated to a manager and am ignored. It is a company's responsibility to guarantee shipping of their own products. A refund is not sufficient, as I will not be able to simply re-order these limited stock items, and I have also wasted about a month waiting on something that was actually destroyed that I used an exclusive coupon code on that was supposed to be given to healthcare workers.Initial Complaint

On 5/19/22 I placed an online order # ********* with RVCA for two shorts. I received a packaged from RVCA on 05/24/22 with 1 short only and it was a wrong order that was supposed to have been sent to someone in **********. I'm from *****. I called customer service on 05/24/22 and they said someone would call me in the next ***** hours. I called again on 05/26/22 after 48 hours had passed because no one had called me and I requested to speak to a manager only to be told that a manager would be in contact with me shortly via phoneline. 24 hours later I'm still waiting for that call. No one seems to resilve my issue and I am now stuck with a **** for something that I don't even have.Initial Complaint

We returned order # *********-$58.00 placed on 6/21. It was brought to **** 7/15 with tracking #************************ OR #************************ (we sent 2 items that day and not sure which tracking # goes to which item). We still have not received a refund for this item.Initial Complaint

Placed an order with RVCA. Website says 3-5 day delay. It’s been 8 days and business has not shipped product and will not give me a status update. This order was time sensitive. I’ve made several attempts to resolve this matter and every time I call I just get a run around about a 3-5 day delay. I expect accountability and integrity from a global brand like RVCA. Instead I just get told “there’a nothing we can do” and “I don’t know”. There is always a solution to any problem. I know this because I work for a lifestyle brand myself where I have to make these kind of decisions on a daily basis. RVCA’s response to this issue is unacceptable.
