    I'm in the process of moving my house title into a trust.This business mail out a letter pretending they are from the **************** asking me to pay a fee to complete the transaction.

    our letter (and on our envelope) clearly states we are NOT a government agency,with the name of our company also clearly printed top left of our letter. It is also clearly stated that our service fee is for a property profile (an approximately 40 page property report) no where on our letter does  it state its to complete a transaction.

    This company sent a letter false information requesting money. How are they getting away with giving false information and requesting money. This company needs to be completed shut down. Did not send any funds after researching the company I realized they are illegally representing information . This need to be stoped. ************...

    We are not a scam, we offer a service for a service fee ( we compile an research an approximately 40 page property report) we do NOT send false letters/information.Our services are clearly stated on our letter. We do not create or manipulate  the property information on our letter it clearly states its from public record. This customer scam accusations could be considered defamatory as the ***** regarding our service  are clearly stated on our letter.

    This is a scam. I received the attached "Deed Notice" just a few days after changing property ownership to a Trust, looking for a $123 "Service Fee". Appearing legitimate since it was only a few days, I sent a $123 fee via credit card. When I checked further and called to request a refund I was immediately hung up and disconnected. All this information they claim to provide is available locally with no charge or a small fee, not $123. I request a refund here since I was intentionally misled and disconnected via phone. Also, this property is under a Trust ownership and not me and this transaction is not valid. I request an immediate refund credit be issued to my credit card.

    We do not hang up on anyone or disconnect calls, all our call are monitored and recorded. We also state on our letter that we have  a 100% refund guarantee and have no problem refunding anyone for any reason. This customer assumption we are a scam is incorrect, we are not a scam. We offer a service for a service fee ( we compile an approximately 40 page property report, called a property profile) *********** fees are for the compilation and research for that report, we are NOT charging for information as stated by this customer. If a home owner chooses to research and compile their own ***************************************************************************************************** they can use services like ours. We do not mislead anyone, the facts regarding our service are is clearly stated in our letter. We have issued a full refund which should reflect back into this customers bank within 72 business hours.

    I received a Recorded Deed Notice from Property Site that I need to pay a service fee in the amount of $123.00 for a property that I didn't own. The property is located in *******, ****** but I don't have a property on that area. This is the information provided from the Property Site letter. Record I.D. 202-24746954, Document # A92040002, and Parcel Number: *************. I just want to request that Property Site company to remove me on their mailing address. Thank you.

    we did go a head an issue a full refund check. We would ask this consumer to please review our letter, top right large font states we are not affiliated with any government agency also on the envelope, first line of our letter, "this service to obtain a property profile", our service fee is for a property report (approximately 40= pages) NOT a certified deed ( we do include a FREE deed with the property report), bottom bullet points state whats in the report, second paragraph down states the uses of the report. We are not a scam this consumer has not reviewed our letter, its very clear as to what our service provides, and is definitely not a scam.

    Everything "Property Site" responded with is in agreement with what I stated, except that they claim innocent intentions.

     I'm certain what they're doing is legal, but I see it as similar to those faux "invoices" that some less than scrupulous entities mail to businesses, hoping the businesses don't notice that the goods were never ordered and that the invoice is wildly overpriced for the supplies they'll deliver.

    I wanted to raise awareness of this practice by this company, at least as long as they do business under that name.

    We can leave the matter as it is now: I don't expect further responses.

    caps, which *might* even be required by law, but studies have shown that people's eyes glaze over when they encounter more than a few words in all caps.

    This consumers complaint was filed under refund/ exchange issues so please note this consumer has not used our services they only received our solicitation letter.  We  offer a service for a service fee and our letter is very detailed and clear as to what we provide. This consumer is making a wrongful  assumptions regarding our business practices which are just that, assumptions.  The only goal of our solicitation letter is to offer a service for a service fee to homeowners who have a change/purchased a property and as stated that is clearly stated on our letter.

    Our letter of solicitation does not resemble an invoice. This customer has not used our services and therefore has no experience doing business with our company,our property reports are very extensive and approximately 40+ pages. The less than scrupulous business scenarios stated by this consumer do not apply to our company or our business practices. Once again wrongful assumptions without any factual basis..

    Received mailing that looked like it was part of my official documents needing to be paid for when having my property retitled for my trust. It was not. The same day I called the company and requested that my charge not be put thru that I did not want the service. I was told 'OK', yet my card was charged and I have no documents that they claim they send. This company 'pirates' public information and dubs people into thinking it's something required when it is not. I want my refund that was requested and I told I would get.

    Thank you we went ahead and issued a refund, it can take up to 72 business hours for your bank to process, if you need further assistance, we are available 7-4PM PST Mon-FRI. This Customer at no point requested a refund ( all our calls are recorded) if they had we would have refunded immediately and sent an email to confirm.We do not pirate public information or dub anyone we offer a legitimate service for a service fee that is clearly stated in our letter.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally report an issue regarding a company involved in property assessments that I believe has scammed me. I received a letter indicating that I owed an assessment fee for my trust, totaling $112. Trusting this communication, I sent a check for this amount because I was waiting to receive a notice from the firm who completed my trust. However, upon contacting my trust firm to verify the payment, I was informed that they had not received any such payment. When I mentioned the letter I received, and I mailed in a check, the representative warned me that it was a scam and advised me to reach out to the Better Business Bureau to seek a refund.I attempted to call the assessment profile company for clarification, but my call was abruptly disconnected. Subsequent attempts to contact them have been met with silence or hang-ups.I would like to request your assistance in investigating this matter and recovering my funds. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

    This customer paid us and received their ********************** profile almost a year ago, all our calls are recorded and we do not hang up on anyone, we also have multiple ways to contact us and we have not received any request for a refund else it would have been processed immediately.We are not a scam,and we do not send bills, we offer an additional service for a service fee (we compile and research property reports) for a service fee,  this is clearly states on our notice this is not a bill and services by nature are *********** we mentioned this customer paid us almost a year ago but we  will waive our refund policy(30-days) and in good faith send this customer a refund check.
