We had purchased valve body for a 2014 vw Jetta transmission that cost $535.55 on July 27th using our ****** account. After receiving the product we had it installed by our mechanic and he noticed during the test drive the valve body was not shifting properly from 2nd to 3rd gear it was slipping. With a car scanner everything looked good on the transmission side. The mechanic said it was a faulty valve body we contacted mad hornets about the valve body being bad on 7/10/25 and wanting to return for a refund so I can purchase a brand new one from the dealership and they came up with excuses on not wanting us to return the product. After many emails later they would only refund 20% of the total cost witch would be $107.11 witch is wrong considering the part they sold me did not work from day one. All I want is to send the part back and get my refund of the total amount back as they sold me a part that did not work. Thanks.Initial Complaint

On 5/31/25 a valve body was purchased from this company , advertised as remanufactured part , received part used with burnt transmission fluid and a used gasket , was NOT what was advertised , contacted the company about the issue and they proposed a partial refund and us selling the part locally , I would like a full refund due to it coming not as advertised .Initial Complaint

April 14, 2025 the part was purchased. We provided the Vin# to our vehicle and the company stated this valve body was a match to our vehicle. Upon receipt of the part the valve body had a crack already. We notified Mad Hornets and they have been giving us the run around. Their website states free shipping, returns... They want us to pay for the shipping back and only refund half of the money. This product was defective when we received it. We would not be contacting the BBB if they just replaced or refunded the part when they were notified.Initial Complaint

ordered a transmission valve body assembly for my car, item was delivered 4 days after i order the part and upon inspection I noticed that there was a broken soleenoid so I contacted customer service and told him about it and asked for a return label to return the whole body assembly and requested a new one be sent out what better packaging protection, all I've gotten was a run around and was told that they would just send me the replacement solenoid and would issue me a 10% refund if I reinstalled the broken piece onto the body assembly. after a few back and forth emails I was told that they do not issue a return label and that I would have to pay for the return shipping label. I have asked several times for an *** and for a new assembly to be sent out to which they will not do. this is the worst company ever. also i just looked on ****** maps and this company doesn't even show on the maps, when you put in their "address", it pops up as a mail box and when you do a street view it shows a different company called ***************. I ordered a set of injectors from mad hornets on November 1 24 I received the product I installed the product drove the truck for about 1000 miles and the injectors quit. I contacted ********** about doing a warranty because on their website it clearly states injectors have a one year unlimited mile warranty. They did not want to warrant them. All they wanted to do was return to me a partial amount of my money I gave them the option of sending me new injectors. Id sent them the ones that failed back. I even contacted ****** credit. They open dispute with them, but was not able to help me. I spent $599.88 on the injectors I would like my money to be returned if at all possible.Initial Complaint

I am writing to file a complaint against Madhornets, an online parts retailer. I placed an order on December 27, 2024, for parts for my vehicle, which were delivered on January 4, 2025. I needed these parts for a scheduled repair. However, upon inspection by my mechanic, I was informed that I had ordered the wrong parts for my vehicle.I immediately contacted Madhornets through the return option in my online account, requesting to return the unused items for a full refund, as I had to purchase the correct kit from another supplier for about $1,500 more than I had initially paid at Madhornets. In response, I received an email from a representative named *****, who essentially blamed me for ordering the wrong parts. She only offered a 15% discount on future purchases and suggested that I sell the parts locally or on ****. I have no interest in reselling the parts and simply want a refund for my honest mistake.Their return policy on the website does not mention any restrictions or a no return policy, so I am confused as to why they are unwilling to accept the return and issue a full refund. I am a paying customer who made a mistake and believe it is reasonable to return the unused parts for a refund, as they can resell the items.I am disappointed with Madhornets lack of customer service and their refusal to offer a fair solution. I paid for a set of fuel injectors from mad hornets almost a week ago and thier is no shipping label created they were supposed to be here already.... they wont contact me back and thry wont answer the phones. I spent $62 with them on nov 18th **************************************************************************************** anything and they dont answer phones. I am trying to get a refund. Ordered an item that will not work for my car and they refuse to refund my money. The web site says that I can get a refund and have up to 60 days to do so. False advertising.
