      The showroom is attractive and inviting. Our sales attendant, *******, found a great balance between letting us explore the seating options and providing helpful information. We sat on pretty much all the different pieces and thought about the ways we would use our new sectional. ******* helped us land on a configuration that were very excited about. It was fun to pick out the fabric and imagine how to decorate the room. They are definitely cagey about how much its going to cost, kind of like buying a car, but the prices are pretty reasonable and the differences in fabric tiers are relatively small.

      This rating is primarily for customer service, as we have not yet received our sofa The sales **** *** *******, was excellent. He was attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly & knowledgeable. The showroom has a great selection of customizable couches/furniture. Looking forward to receiving our sofa

      Not thrilled with their return policy -- since it isn't really a return policy. It is s a "we will take it back, but you are basically paying for it anyway, because you have to pay a 50% restocking fee, absorb original shipping cost, AND pay for the shipping to go back." By the time you are finished, you mind as well give it to someone who needs it because they are only going to resell it at full cost again! As an online business they need to do better than that!

      We bought our sectional because our children have one and it is very comfortable. However, since our space is smaller, we bought the mini version. As luck would have it, an overheated battery burned a small hole in one of our cushions just days after it was delivered. When I called for a replacement I was told it was covered under the Life Happens warranty we had purchased with the sectional, which covers anything in life that happens, including small burn holes. However, after waiting 2 weeks, our warranty claim was denied because, as it turns out, burns from batteries are not on the very short list of the types of burns that are covered under the warranty. If it was a really hot plate Id be fine, but not so much with a really hot battery. So I buy a new cushion for $200. Not a huge deal except for the time I wasted going through the warranty process. In the interim, we decided that the mini version of the sectional was not as comfortable as the regular version our kids have so we decided to return it. Their 90 day return policy is also pretty terrible. They charge a 50% restocking fee plus we have to pay for shipping, but at least they will take the thing away and we will get at least some money back. But no. As it turns out, the sectional must be in original condition and to them that means it must have the original, undamaged cushion. The fact that the cushion it currently has was purchased from them and is identical to the one that it shipped with is irrelevant. It is no longer original. Were still getting rid of the sectional. Weve already ordered a new couch (obviously not Joybird) and it will be here in a few weeks. Fortunately for us, we can afford to lose the $3k we spend on this thing, but Im sure not everyone can. They are a deceptive company with a deceptive warranty and a truly horrible return policy. Stay far, far away from them.
