I went to a drive through 1st time for "California Burgers" on Dec 3rd. I ordered a Teriyaki chicken sandwich, and seafood platter. The sandwich was *****, and the platter was *****. So I was expecting good drive through food. When I got to the window, he took my card and said it'll be up in a bit. While I was sitting there for 15 minutes, I noticed the receipt didn't match the prices on the menu screen I had just ordered from. *Up by 8$ !!! Each item went up $4 from ordering. When he finally came back to the window I asked to speak with the manager. He said I am the manager and cook tonight. I told him my price went up $8 from the time I ordered off the menu board. He states... our prices fluctuate all the time due to the times. What?! As for the food... I got home 8 min away, and that's when I was really upset! The Teriyaki chicken sandwich had so much sauce the bread was soaked and falling apart (not edible). The seafood platter scallops were burnt, baked potato was so over cooked, like a rock (not edible). I was confused what I just paid 42$ for. (Took pics of everything!) Had to throw most of it away. I contacted the manager next day, ****. Gave her all the info. She states a manager will call me back by Friday, if not call back. No call, so I call back. She is not there. I call back the next day she's not there. So the following week. she tells me I have to speak with **** the other manager. I call and talk to him the next day, he asks what day this happened. I told him and he responds with oh that's not my shift it's ****'s. I ask him to relay the message and no one ever calls back to this day. **** stated in the beginning Ca Burgers is not a chain... Therefore I have nothing. I have no ownership information, no chain info, no franchise info... I just want my $42 back, and to be done forever with this terrible restaurant. I have my receipt, pictures of the burnt food, and soaking wet bread. Please help me resolve getting my money back.*********, ****
