Have called and purchased vitamins from this company before and were told that they were vegan. Called in on me Monday to clarify the products that I was about to purchase and asked were they all vegan. The lady said that some of the items on my list were in fact vegan but some were not. She said that she would rearrange certain products in my list to make my order vegan. The lady never called back. When I called the phone number back I was hung up on and texted that, she would call me back. I then texted the number back and was texted back an apology and another promise to return my call. The following day I called and spoke with a person named *****. ***** said that, Youngevity does not sell vegan products and has no certification to sell vegan products.Business response

Problem:
I contacted Youngevity and was contacted with a representative by the name of *****************, AKA Pastor ****************** At that time I explained to ***************** my desire to become healthy and that I was vegan. ***************** did what they called a health exam over the phone at which time I explained and reminded ***************** that I was vegan. By and through ***************** recommendation of the Youngevity products, I ordered $1,400 worth of products. When the products arrived, I called ***************** and she gave me instructions in regards to taking the products. after 2 days of taking the products I became sick, the products I was told to take had dairy products in them, which made me sick. I returned all of the products that I got, and was given a partial refund. I have talked with the Youngevity company several times and emailed their company office several times and received no return email. I have requested a full refund and explanation from the company. I do not recommend this company to anyone, the people are unprofessional and frauds. Who does this type of stuff to honest customers? I have a dairy allergy and Im vegan I could have been terminally ill. Youngevity needs to be investigated and ***************** is not a licensed doctor, this is fraud. Youngevity owes me a full refund and an apology.Business response

On September 7th I purchased one of their packages in order to be a referrer. I talked to them on the phone, and they told me on the phone $700 package was the correct one in order to receive commissions. After a couple of months, I noticed that there was no referrals coming through. I contacted them and they said I purchased the wrong package and would not receive any referrals.I would either like my referral commissions, or a refund for the packages I purchased trying to get the commissions.Initial Complaint

I was told and mislead to believe if I purchased CEO spots at 2 thousand dollars a piece that I would not have to do anything and I will receive a check in the mail every week as long as I buy 90 IBU points spend 99 dollars of product per month. I brought 2 CEO spots at 2 thousand each, I also bought 3 downline spots at 500 dollars each. Being told by *********************** that I would not have to do any leg work or sales or promote people on my down line. Coffee business at the time of entry. Start up. Several years went buy and I did not receive large volumes of any kind of money so I stopped for awhile. So I wanted to check how much money I would be getting if I started back up again. I was told I would have to pay 49 dollars to start back up for autopay. Annual fee per year. I was told I had to spend 99 IBU point witch is 99 dollars of product per month on an autoship and started buying 100 dollars plus per month of Youngevity products. I never received a commission check. So when I called on 1/04/2022 I spoke with customer service and for the first time it was explained to me that I would not get any money unless I put people in my down line. I told her that I was misrepresented and I was told that I would not have to do anything and would still receive commission as long as I spent 99 in points of purchasing products from youngevity. I spent ***** in start up and 99 dollars per month for a long time. I stopped and just recently started back up and still have not received any commission. I asked the customer service lady and she said I hate to be the bad person here but you will not get any of your money back. This business from the sales person that sold us the program completely lied and falsely gave us hope on purchasing a large amount of money stating it would grow every week with out doing anything except paying 99 dollars a month. This is very wrong and I feel I should be compensated for my loss and the misrepresentation I have received.Business response

We have received correspondence from you in regard to *************************** requesting a refund for being misled by a distributor.
First regarding ******************* statement where she states she was told to purchase (2) CEO spots for $2,000 apiece. That would not be from Youngevity. We do have CEO packs for purchase if you are looking to work the business, however, are packs are $539.99. No where near the $2,000 that was stated by *****************. Youngevity makes no guarantees or income claims when distributors/customers join. I have checked our system and was able to locate (2) accounts under Rebeccas name (*************************** (J10652) & *************************** (J10648). Both accounts have no CEO pack purchases. I do show where ***************** paid the distributor membership fee for $49.95 back on 10/15/21 (This does set up an annual autoship that will process on 10/15/22 for $49.95) this is to keep her status as a distributor. I do show that ***************** emailed in on 1/6/22 requesting to cancel this annual autoship which has been done.
If ***************** no longer wishes to be a part of Youngevity we can issue a refund for that distributorship fee of $49.95. Regarding the $2,000 we do not have any record of her purchasing anything for that amount with Youngevity. If ******* would like to return some of the unused product that she may still have, she can do so for any orders up to a year ago (again the product must not be used or opened). I am showing on her account (J10652) she has 2 orders that are within that window. Order ******** placed on 12/14/21 in the amount of $117.28 and Order ******** placed on 11/3/21 in the amount of $117.59. By doing this we can then close her account so there is no more issues. If there is anything further that I may assist you with, please feel free to give me a call at **********************.
Thank you,

Dear Representative of the Better Business Bureau:

We have received the follow-up correspondence from you in regard to ***************************.
I have reached out to ***************** and informed her that we still are more than happy to issue a refund for the Distributor fee that was paid on 10/15/21 in the amount of $49.95. As well as any order that was placed in the last year if the items have been unopened/ unused. Regarding the previous amounts **************** states that she paid to sign up with JavaFit ($2,000 Founders Fee and $500 for 3 downline positions) before they Merged with Youngevity we are unable to do anything regarding those funds, since they were collected by a company that at the time had no connection to Youngevity in anyway.
***************** has replied asking for a refund for the last order she placed with us on 12/14/21 in the amount of $117.59 (once all items have been returned) and the Distributor ship fee that was paid on 10/15/21 in the amount of $49.95. A refund for the Distributor ship fee has been submitted as of today 1/10/22 in the amount of $49.95. We have sent a label to ***************** to return the last order from 12/14/21, once we receive the order back we will start a refund on that in the amount of $117.59 if all items have been returned from this order. If there is anything further that I may assist you with, please feel free to give me a call at **********************.
Thank you,
