The delivery service R&L Carriers made my product delivery a nightmare. While it was shipped extremely fast, the only notification I received was from the delivery driver who called to say he was at the location to deliver the 70 boxes of flooring. No advanced notice whatsoever. I dropped what I was doing and ran to the location. I wound up moving 70 boxes of flooring at 40lbs per box into the house myself. I'm not a young man. If I would have had some advanced notification, I would have arranged for some assistance ahead of time. I let my sales rep no of my complaint and asked for a call but I did not get any response.Review from Gracie N

I have never used this company. They tried to charge my bank ******. I called bank and stopped everything. Then called this company. You can not talk to anyone unless you have a account. Which I don't. Only chat with someone on their page. I was told no their problem. Would not recommend using this company. They seem shady.Review from Michael F

While the Mohawk product may be great, I'd avoid doing any business with Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Build.com, and their shipping company R+L Carriers. I ordered a pallet of flooring for a project and they sent the wrong color/line of carpet. I was not there to sign for or inspect the carpet, so they just dropped it at my front door (2 days before they said it would be arriving). Fortunately, I went by the job site and saw the pallet outside before the rain started. When I noticed it was the wrong item, I called to have them return and pick it up. The Build.com rep told me they haven't had the carpet I ordered in stock for months and do not expect to have it for a couple more. Why in the world would Bed, Bath, and Beyond be selling it then?! They advised they would have to schedule at a later date a return pick-up and I would have to unload and move the entire pallet inside of the building. I moved everything inside and returned a different day to meet with the carrier. I called R+L the morning of the return and they advised they would be to the site between 1pm and 5pm. I gave them my phone number in case of any issues and went to the site to move everything outside and re-pallet it for them per their request. Once 5pm came and no one showed, I called them again and they said their driver tried calling me, but apparently had the wrong number. They then told me they wouldn't be able to come and that I would again have to move the entire pallet back inside. As of right now I have almost 8 hours invested into trying to return their mistakes, as well as a tired back from lifting and moving boxes 3 times for absolutely no reason. Build.com, R+L Carriers, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond have made no attempts to remedy their multiple mistakes. It's one thing to have someone steal your money, but when they begin to rob you of your time....it isn't something you can ever recoup. I'm very disappointed in how they run their operation and will NEVER buy from them again.Review from Gustavo L

They are scammers, they claim to offer a 90-day return policy, which is completely deceptive. I bought a dishwasher and as soon as we installed it, the device immediately started having problems, making a repetitive electronic noise every 15 minutes constantly. We requested a return since we were within the return period, and they replied that they could not accept the return because it had been installed. How were we supposed to know before installing it that the device would fail? Were we supposed to have prophetic vision? They are thieves.Review from Carol K

Build.com listed my vanity as including a mirror. I contacted customer service to let them know I hadn't received it. The first customer service rep confirmed there was a mirror included. After getting disconnected and being on the phone for an hour, the 2nd rep informed me this was an error on their webpage but there would be no compensation or replacement item. No accountability. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with an online company. I purchased an item in August and they shipped me the wrong finish. Thus I requested a return and they approved the return and had me take it to the *** Store. It gets returned to their facility on 9/11 and then I have to fight with customer service 3 times from 9/22 onward because the return was never processed and they don't know why, nor is there any apology for the errors. Now they are fighting with me that the credit was put back on my AmEx card, when it wasn't, and AmEx is saying there is nothign submitted. So Build.com keeps telling me it's AmEx's fault and all I get is the runaround. So even though I've got all the documentation saying they've returned it, no credit. Now I'm having to dispute the charge with AmEx and waste that company's time because build.com's system is screwed up. They keep saying they did everything on their part and I'm stuck in limbo, and this isn't like it's overnight or a few days - this return was due 2+ weeks ago. Taking a look at the order, the refund was issued on 9/27 in the amount of $620.07 and should appear in the account on the order within 7 business days of that date. I made a purchase from build.com and immediately realized it was the wrong item. Called them directly and was told that they had canceled the item. However, in the case that the package does arrive, I would be able to return it. The item shipped even though they didn't lift a finger to process the order for 24 hours after I had canceled it. So I tried to set up a return and was unable to. I contacted them again and they informed me that the item was not returnable because of their return policy which says it is a flooring item. To avoid returns they just mark any items flooring so you can't return it. Nowhere is the item a flooring item. It is indicated on build.com's website that it is "trim" and indicated on the info from the company posted on the item that it is for a wall. It seems to me that this business does everything it can to keep your money once they receive it. Their customer service is terrible and unresponsive. My only recourse was to complain here. So that is what I chose to do.Build.com Response

We ordered all of our appliances from Build.com while we were building a new home. Our appliances came before our home was finished so we had to store them in our garage. One of the items was an Electrolux 30" gas range that cost $4238 with tax. We opened the shipping box and inspected the front and top but left the sides protected since it had to stay in the garage. Two months later when we were ready to install them, we found the stove was damaged beyond repair but it was hidden damage. The shipping box was not damaged, telling me the stove was placed in the box in that condition. Build.com refused to stand behind the damage. We had to buy a new stove from another company. We filed a claim in MO with a small claims court and were awarded a judgment against them. That was July 5th. So far (9/27/23) they have not paid this judgment. We have hired an attorney but they are ignoring them also. We spent over $20,000 with this company and regret it. They need to pay what they owe.Review from Laura H

I ordered tile from Build.com on June 23rd, and they said it would be delivered on 2 different days, and it wasn't. On the third delivery date they shared, the driver showed up, called me and said he couldn't deliver it. I asked him to talk to my General Contractor so he could work out an alternate delivery plan (take it himself). He ended up getting angry with my contractor, and the shipment is lost. I can't get anyone at Build.com to answer my questions. They don't answer the phone, and they give me vague answers via email. They have now dropped me on chat after I tried to ask for help. NEVER USE THEM! I called the delivery service they sub-contract out to for help, and they said they hate working with Build.com because they aren't responsive.Build.com Response

Only received partial order. Order #******** was for outdoor lamp post light and wall sconce. . I only received the lamp post light. The wall sconce was never delivered. I tried calling customer service several times but there is an extraordinary long wait hold time. I sent several emails also which I never received a response.Build.com Response
