    CPL ******* I should have been clearer in helping with your concern about the emails. *** sends informational emails to our Members including Messages to them from other Members, People who joined that served in your Units, new Site Features Announcements, Veterans looking to connect with other Local Veterans, and its Monthly Newsletter. If you do not wish to receive any of these emails, there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email which prevents the email being sent in the future. Did you attempt to do this? On every email there is a statement to contact ****************************** if you wish any assistance. Did you attempt to do this? *** serves over 2.5 million Veterans and we receive many compliments on what we do for Veterans including our Veteran-manned member support.     I became a member of this site but later determined that I do not use it as frequently as anticipated. When I attempted to delete my profile, I discovered that the website provides no option to do so which I thought was odd. It was the first web site Ive seen with no option to delete your profile. I subsequently submitted multiple written requests to two different site administrators, asking that my account and all associated information be permanently deleted. Despite these efforts, both administrators have refused to comply with my requests. I have filed a complaint with the ************************ and with the ******************************** Maybe that will convince them to comply with my wish. Its a shame we have to go through this to get your account and information deleted. Its like they are holding our information hostage. I hate they treat veterans this way. Its really a shame.

    I sent an email months ago demanding for my account to be deleted and initially I recieved a reply stating "If we delete your account how are people going to find you?" And when I replied to that email my request was ignored. Now months later after several request my account is still active. Please beware of this company God knows what information of yours theyre exploiting. If my account is deleted soon I will start contacting Congress and Senators because of theor predatory business practices.

    I signed up under a free 30 day trial. Was not supposed to be charged until after 30 days. They charged me at day 12. I called my bank to cancel it but they won't cancel it. After putting my information into their system, I was able to see the soldiers that I had "served" with. Only x1 out of x40 soldiers i read about had ever served in my unit. They had filled my unit with "unknown " soldiers to make it look like there were friends there. I knew every soldier from my unit...and x39 of the listed were fakes. My unit was also shut down decades ago and the are listing soldiers who left that unit to this day (2025)! Their information is fake! I have a complete roster of every soldier in my unit and only one match. That one match is only because they paid into the system and entered their private information. I tried to sign onto my account to delete it today and they removed my access to it. It is the same account and sign-in as I've used 12 days in a row. I want my information DELETED and my money refunded. THIS COMPANY IS A FAKE. They do not have a company address...its a ***** mail in address which is illegal to collect money from. DO NOT use this California company! It is a fake!!!

    Last month I joined TWS hoping to find long lost military buddies. Today I received an email addressed to ***** Officer first class (rate I held in 1966) - followed by my name boldly shown in a big red white and blue banner like field. It was an ad telling me that I should join AARP. Beware .. I had no idea that TWS was a feeder for SPAM.

However, we do have partnerships with three select sponsors who help pay for the substantial costs of hiring disabled Veterans to help run TWS, our programming department, and all the advertising that brings more members to TWS. You can 'unsubscribe' from any further AARP emails by simply clicking the "unsubscribe" button.Please understand that we respect each of our veterans' political choices. We do not disrespect people's choices. It does not mean that we support them or not. We are all Veterans.     ******** Chief Administratgor who belittled my 2 year service and should not be allowed to handle any military veterans records. Tried to run a yearly subscription of $19.95 on my credit card. Did not have the decency to return my call only responded via email in a condecending matter. lThe signature line on the email was ***************** US Navy Veteran Chief Administrator. A disgrace to all who served.

    *******, I'm sorry I didn't reach out by phone immediately. Please understand that amount of time in helping Veterans everyday and keep the site running takes. There are only 3 of to answer the 100's of emails an calls. I was condescending to you, and I'm sorry you felt that way. I was only explaining the charge that you questioned as put forth by the upper echelons. I do not feel that I disgraced your two of service to our Country. I explained that you freely chose to upgrade the yearly membership and that we did sent you an email informing you of the upcoming charge. We have no control if the remember chooses not read the email. We upheld ou terms of service. I did offer a 50% refund. You replied to me saying "well show me my signature". No online subscription upgrade that have done asks for my signature. Just if I agree to the charge. Then you replied to this Veteran of many years with this.... "It is quite obvious to me you didn't serve and only want to scam. Don't send me anymore "Unwanted responses".

    Don't know what kind of problems the other customer had. I've been a member since 2008 and am a lifetime member. I have found others that I served with through this site and have met some members in person at gatherings.I give it an A+**********

    This is pretty close to being a scam website. I was looking for people in my ******* War unit because I filed a claim for agent orange and was looking for additional verification of my exposure, but found non. They take your money saying you can cancel anytime et. and then do not provide any INFORMATION ABOT CANCELLING OR EVEN CONTACTING THEM. You cannot even click on their Terms of Service link which is near the bottom of their page because the slider won't hold there. I tried to cancel in vain so I disputed the $19.95 charge with my Chase credit Card and immediately the charge was reversed by the bank with no further action on my part necessary.
