Empire salespeople are con men! My friends initial quote for carpet $8000...They told the salesman no way too expensive for one room. He was asked to leave when all of a sudden it could be done for $800! I called for flooring in my home and after 2.5 hrs of sales bull and measuring they refused to give me a quote. I complained to the company and some indignant representative wanted me to start all over with another salesman! If I had 5 plus hours to waste during my work week I wouldn't be able to afford new floors! These guys treated me crappy once they found out I was single, it seemed like after that I was judged like I couldn't afford them. My advice GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! They are the Walmart of the carpet industry.

It was our experience that Mike T. is a major B.S. artist and a liability to the company. The sad part about this clown of a salesman is he thinks his customers are buying the bull Sh** that he is selling... Think East Coast want-a-bie mob guy....he talks to customers on the phone at the same time that he is talking to 10 other people...very rude and because of which makes numerous mistakes, We came into the store, chose our carpet, received a installation date and paid a deposit. One week later we get a call from Mike and the agreed upon price has increased $$$$ and the installation date was pushed a week. At this point in the project, we have no choice but to continue with this company, as it was too late in our timeline to start over with another company. After reading the mixed reviews of this company, a majority of the multiple stars given were in the past (pre 2019) This company is definitely living on its past reputation and their family T.V. commercials Perhaps this is why this Cat City store is always empty? Carpet Empire plus .... Lesson learned ! Never again!
