In 2022 I brought my car to Valvoline express. I have been going to this location for all my oil changes. It was brought to my attention from the Acura dealership where I leased my car that on two occasions Valvoline inputted the wrong odometer ************ over ****** more than what was on the car odometer.I went back to Valvoline to let them know and to correct their mistake which I was told by the manager, *******************, that they cannot do anything about it. Even the dealership told me that this is a common thing with drive through oil change centers and they have the ability to fix the mistake.I'm now unable to return my lease because of the discrepancy on the carfax report and will have to buy the car outright and be out $15,000 dollars. THIS IS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICE AND NEEDS TO BE RECTIFIED!!!Initial Complaint

I am the mother of a 27 year old girl who brought her car to have the oil changed at XXXXX ****** *** ********* ****** ******** *** XXXXX on ******* ******* *** ***** She drove away and not 1/2 mile away her oil light went on AND the vehicle started to seize up. She pulled over and saw that there was a lot of oil that was under the car and all over her front undercarriage/tires and the dipstick was clean. She called the shop to which she explained her situation. In the meantime, she is pulled over in a NO PARKING zone on a highway. The manager, ******, came out and said that they forgot to place the filter on correctly. So, he filled the car with oil he brought and then had it towed to their shop. The mechanic is not there until Monday, so they kept it overnight (10/17). So now she is without a car and she cannot miss work or school. So, I offered her my car and she can drop me off at work on her way to her work. In the meantime, the mechanic looks at the car and says the following (which she has a voicemail/recording of: "we can either offer to buy your car for ***** OR we can replace the engine with a similar engine"). Well, her car was in perfect shape and did not have any issues whatsoever. Because we take care of our cars. And is a student with no debt or car payments, so ***** will not get her very far at all. Then she said she would like a refurbished engine and they said no. Then she said she would like a 6 or 12 month guarantee on the engine and they said no. Well, she tells them to replace the engine as she is in tears and very frustrated. Of course, as I do not blame her. They truly messed up her car. Then, they said they would order the engine and it would take one day. Well, it is now Monday, October 25th and she has no car still and nothing was ever said about a rental car as I mentioned for her to ask. They said they would not rent her a car, but nothing was ever mentioned about renting and bringing them the receipt. And when I called just now to speak
