I hired this company via phone to pick up a 46 feet vintage bus/rv I bought from the purchase location with a tow to take it to the Mechanic. When the driver arrived at the mechanic, the mechanic stated he didn’t have the correct tools to work on the vehicle. The tow driver said they would keep it at their location and there would be a daily charge for the storage. They refused to take payment over the phone with my card and said it had to be done in person. In the next weeks I sent various text messages and calls and there was no answer. In the following weeks my son was having health issues, So I took a few weeks to get back to them with the understand that there would be a daily charge which I was willing to pay. I also got AAA RV to help with the situation. Platinum never returned my calls and call me. Finally when I reached them over the phone, the owner “Joe” told me my RV (valued at $40k) had been taken to the junkyard because it was abandoned property. He refused to provide me any information about the “junkyard” he had taken it to, any lien, or action. He said no one wanted my rv and it was taken to the junkyard. The vehicle also contained about $20k of musical instrument which has been inventoried, and this is also missing. He told me the conversation was over and he would not give me any info about lien sale, or anything related to the vehicle and hung up on me. I sent 3 emails to which they never responded as they never responded to my texts or call. I called and spoke to a receptionist inquiring for a response to my emails, she said only Joe knows, when I asked her to give me her email so she could forward it to her boss, she refused to and sent me to his voicemail, I left a message asking him to let me know where my bus is. I will be filing a police report today for theft. A dishonest, scammy , fraudulent company, ran by thieves many reviews on Yelp of people who experienced it. I want the BBB to investigate and assist me in recovering my bus.
