I reached out to Ellenshop on March 31,2024 regarding 3 or 4 attempts to cancel my new subscription for next year which renews in May 2024 on the website, and the website refuse to process it, it kept offering me a 25% discount o stay instead of accepting my cancellation and confirming it. I have received emails asking me to explain why I am leaving or here is a discount to stay, but we are NOT confirming a cancellation for you .?? (Please see attached email documents)Initial Complaint

I was sent an email stating that they renewed my annual subscription on Feb. 15, 2023. I asked them to cancel it and refund my credit card. They said I'm sorry to see you go but we can't refund your card since you canceled after February 14th, which is most likely why they emailed the day after. Now today March 8th, after I told them I was going to report them to the BBB they offered a refund of $148.50 instead of the $232.31. I've asked them to refund the balance of $83.81 because I don't want the renewal.Initial Complaint

We have tried several times to cancel our BeKindByEllen Subscription as we moved in October *********************************************************************************************************************************** June 2023 we sent an email canceling the service and received their confirmation (in attachment) but received two additional notices in 2023 of shipments sent. We tried contacting them again (they will not provide a phone and you may only submit electronic messages) and informed them that we had contacted our bank and again, wanted the membership cancelled and even had the bank issue a new card. Last week the organization charged our new card approximately $60 (which they obtained through the **** Automated Updater (***) service) and we notified them again via their app, we notified our bank and have a new card coming with disenrollment from the *** and we filed a ***************************** Criminal Referral for Fraud against the organization. I have also tried several additional times submitting a help request through their website and I have even tried their online chat service (which they never attend and simply say the wait is too long and to send them an email. This business should be banned from operating as they are fraudulently billing customers for no product and refuse to cancel subscriptions. I was contacted late in the day on August 14th about renewing an Ellen Be Kind Box resubscription. I was charged first thing the next morning for $209.84. I immediately emailed them and said that I didn't want renew the subscription box and I wanted them to cancel my subscription and refund my credit card immediately. They emailed me two days later and said they were sorry to see my go, and that the had cancelled my subscription service and I wouldn't be charged for future boxes. I knew I'd probably be charged for the Fall Box, but was sent a winter box in December and noticed that the charges were still pending on my credit card. I was never given a refund and they sent me a box several months after I cancelled. They keep saying that I missed my cancellation deadline of August 15th, however the email was sent late in the afternoon Pacific Time Zone and I live in the Eastern Time Zone. I believe they send these out late so the customer only has several hours to cancel instead of ***** hours. They refuse to call me or provide me with a phone number to contact someone there.Initial Complaint

Ordered "full year" subscriprion boxes of 3 separate types: the "Paws Up" the "Be Kind" and the "12 Days" I received ONLY the Paws Up" subscription box for 1st month and no more - received ZERO for other two (again note these were FULLY PRE-PAID annual subscriptions totalibg >$500!!)despite making five, yes, five, email attempts at contacting this merchant to resolve this issue. Every single email was completely completely ignored; no response received whatsoever and there's noted in other complaints. No phone call option is even available as a contact method.!!Considering that this is a repeated complaint over and over and over again regarding this merchant of exactly the same type as well as many unrespected to complaints something needs to be done and perhaps the celebrity whose name is attached Ellen DeGeneres should know this is going on!!Finally, worst of all there's literally literally a current pending charge for these subscriptions that I can't even dispute yet proving they continue to bill me!'last, but not least my attempts to cancel the subscriptions online continues to be unsuccessful. I had a quarterly subscription for the Be Kind box offered by ellenshop. I received an email from ellenshop giving me a list of items I could choose from to add to my next box. I picked six items and received an email confirmation on o2/15/23 for a total of $478.97. I was under the impression that these items were included in the next quarterly box and I was surprised to be charged for the additional items. One of the items sent to me was not one I had picked and one of the items was a free item. I have contacted ellenshop numerous times by email, this is the only contact for ellenshop. It's been a back and forth unresolved issue since February 2023. I have received 2 emails from this company stating when is the best time for them to call me so this issue can be resolved. I have provided them with my telephone number and no one has called me. I have received one return label and was able to return one of the items. In that email they stated they will send other return labels as soon as they receive them. I have not received any return labels. I have cancelled my quarterly subscription with this company. Purchased 2 subscription boxes (at the same time) from The EllenShop as a gift for my mother at the end of December. It never arrived and the company does not have a phone number and refuses to answer emails. Their social media is littered with people who had the same exact experience. Its wrong what they are doing to people with a celebrities name attached to it.last month i received a call from a private number from **** the head of customer service and she said my emails had been going to a spam folder and she marked my email address as valid so that wouldnt happen anymore and reshipped the order which also NEVER tracked anywhere. now they refuse the answer again.Initial Complaint

It's been 1 month since my credit card was charged for an Ellen box in November 15. ($54.99) **************** is non-existent. I had one email back saying "be patient" and then no result. I had also ordered another set of items through the ellen website on 11/2 ($47.30) for some special that was listed on the website. I cannot get anyone to help me with this shipment information. I need the latter for a gift and need to know if it won't be here soon. In both cases, I would prefer receiving my order, but I am close to just asking for a refund and being done with this website. It's quite aa disappointment because it was fun receiving the packages. I will be turning it over to my **** collections department and complaining online if it isn't resolved before Christmas. *********************Customer Answer
