I dropped my classic car off to Ronnie R around September 29th, 2021 and he provided me a quote for $16,313 to restore my car and paint. I paid Ronnie $8,156 deposit and another $4,800 within the next two months. He initially informed me that the car would be done within 6 months and would give me every excuse on why the car is not completed. I constantly requested Ronnie to send me pictures of the progress, which he didn't. Ronnie basically used the money I gave him on other projects and found out after doing more research on this thief and scam artist, that he is notorious for delaying projects and using others peoples money on other cars he is working on. In October of 2022, I received a call from them stating that the landlord did not renew their lease and that I needed to pick up my car, which was extremely inconvenient. After I had my car towed home, I saw that nothing had been done to my car in the 13 months it was there. I immediately requested all the money I paid them to be sent back to me, as he did absolutely nothing with my car. I finally received an email from his sons wife stating that the credit on my account is $12,957 back on November 18th 2022 and that I should be getting my money back before the end of the year 2022. They were very reluctant to give me an exact date, which makes me question what they did with my money. They mentioned that they couldn't give me my money back until they received the money from the bank. If that is the case, I don't think that their lease wasn't renewed by the landlord and that they had to file BK and change their company name to Our Family Auto Shop. I have been trying to get in contact with Ronnie and Selena since early December 2022 for an update on when I will get my money back, and both Ronnie and Selena refuse to return my calls. I still have not received my money back that is owed to me and will take severe legal action. Don't Trust Ronnie, he belongs in jail for running his operation like a Ponzi scheme.Review from Victor A

Ronnie R****** provided an estimate to perform the body repairs and paint on my classic on 4/23/2016 for $9200. I made a down payment of $4200 and another payment of $3,000 prior to paint. As of 12/20/2019, total payments made were $8,513. On 07/16/2021, 5 years after my car was dropped off, I picked up the car and found several areas were not primed and painted correctly and several areas of the body were not fixed. Excessive bondo was also used throughout the car. On 07/21/2021, I provided pictures to Ronnie showing the defective bodywork and paint issues. On 07/26/2021 Ronnie advised that he will not repair the workmanship issues. On 07/26/2021, I opened a case with BAR (Case# ** **** *****). On 09/21/2021, BAR closed the case and identified several violations against Ronnie and stated that he should have not been compensated for any of the work performed. After 5 years of dealing with his excuses, lies and delays, I opened a small claims case on 11/30/2021. I won the case on 04/2022 and was awarded $10,000 plus fees. During the trail, Ronnie postponed every court date and never showed up to a single hearing. A bench warrant was issued against Ronnie. He is very deceitful and should not be in any public service business. Ronnie is corrupt, untruthful and misleading with poor business acumen. Further investigation on Ronnie, exposed that he has over 15 liens against him and has no assets under his or his wife’s name. He is clearly hiding his assets which is a clear sign of deceitfulness and dishonesty as his intention is to continue to be fraudulent with other law-abiding citizens. Ronnie should be put out of business and not be issued a business license. It amazes me how the law & BBB allow him to continue to do business. Do your research on Ronnie and you will confirm that everything stated herein is the truth. The goal is to expose his business practices so that future work is placed into honest businesses and forces his family-run operation out of business.Review from Travis S.

Don’t waste your time or money on this shop Ronnie’s was under contract on my dads car asked for 1/3 up front which was paid cash on a promise the car would be done in 6 months. The car was there over a year the first time after we got the car back we realized that the car had all kinds of pits and holes in the paint so the car went back was there another 4 months after he said it would only be a few weeks to fix well here it is March 28 2022 the car came back home and has more paint problems in different areas then when it left. Huge burn marks in the paint from over polishing scratches from trying to fix his F-ups. The only way at this point to fix the car is have another shop fix it and take Ronnie to court and get money back worst experience for my dad on car he has save money to finish since I was a kid and I’m almost 40 now. Take your money somewhere that cares how your car turns out not just about making moneyReview from Nick M

On December 15, 2021, I paid the owner Ronnie Sr $8,285.00 for a deposit for an off the frame restoration for my 64 Chevy Impala SS. On January 7, 2022, I contacted Ronnie Sr to inform him I had a death in the family and had to cover the expenses for the burial. Due to the family emergency, I would need to stop the restoration on the car and would be picking my car up on Monday, January 10, 2022 and to refund me my money. Ronnie Sr informed me that he only worked on and repaired the heater housing and the cost of labor would be $500.00 and he did not have my deposit to give back to me, he would need 30 days to come up with the money. On Monday, January 10, 2022, I picked up my car I told him I would be expected my money in 30 days minus the $500.00. On top of that I told him to deduct $1000.00 me being courteous for his time and the amount due was $6,745.00. After the 30 days past I still did not receive my deposit back, I told Ronnie Sr he was to add back the $1000.00 making it a total of $7,745.00, It wasn't until February 18, 2022 that I received my deposit back from Ronnie Sr of $6,745.00 I will be taking Ronnie Sr to small claims court for the remaining balance of $1000.00. To add to this before my family emergency I would go to Ronnie Sr shop to see my car, Ronnie Sr would never let me see my car he kept giving me the run around it wasn't until the day I picked my car up is when I saw my car. **** *
