I love hot yoga. Location is great. Instructors are nice, and most of the receptionists seem nice.However, I am having a bad experience carrying over the tickets from the previous owner. Even though it says "We are honoring classes that were purchased with the previous owner."I bought 50 tickets in 2020 which had no expiration date includingmats and towelrentals. I called in Dec 2022. The receptionist said "Yes, you still have 47 tickets left with no expiration date. But please use them as soon as possible. We don't do towel rental anymore, we charge towels and mats for $5 because of the drought."So I went in the nextday. The front desk person said, "You have to buy 10 tickets to use 10 tickets from the previous owner." I told the person who answered the phone the day before said I could still use the tickets. Another receptionist came in and said why don't we talk about thisat the end of Feb.I still have 38 left. I went on Feb 16th. The lady at the front desksaid my ticket expiredFeb15th, I can't use them anymore unless I buy 48 more tickets or become a monthly member. I asked what about ***** expirationdate and she said "the previous owner lied to you because they knew they were going to sell it."Business response

Dear ***************,
I believe that this complaint may have been resolved several weeks ago after I spoke to **** and her husband. Although the membership had long expired after we purchased the buisness from the previous owner, I agreed to extend ***** membership for another 3 months and if after that date(June 20 2023) if **** was making a good effort to use her classes and had some remaining we would do an additional extension.
Upon receiving the complaint filed and **** asking as resolution for a store credit for her unused 38 classes this is something we can also offer although it is not as favorable to **** as the first offer.
******************** purchased 50 classes for $638 and has 38 remaining at a value paid of $12.76 each which totals a store credit of $485. This can be used towards any service we provide. A 24 class card is $460 and the balance could be used towards future purchases.
Please be aware that all class cards come with a 1 year expiration date.
Let me know which way **** would like to go,I believe that my first offer is actually more cost effective and makes more sense as **** will not lose 12 classes.
I hope this is satisfactory,**** seems to enjoy coming to our studio and we hope to see her soon.

I am rejecting this response because:We found a archived website from 2020 after we talk to the funkydoor.
It says:
Yoga Packages
"You can either buy a specific number of classes that have no expiration or an unlimited number of classes for a specific amount of time. "

Please ask the complainant to send us the screenshot. We go by the expiration date entered into the customers profile on our database at the time of the sale. Please also ask that there is some way of verifying when it was posted and / or viewed as we know that in anticipation of a shutdown many membership bases businesses like ours changed their guidelines a shortly before the shutdown because of people being reluctant to make purchases. They also posted and sent out notices that expiration dates would be frozen.
if this was posted before the date of purchase by all means we will honor her membership with no expiration date.

I have responded to the complaint after seeing the screenshots and although the dates dont correspond with the dates of the membership I now be that the complainant believed that there was no expiration date and I have extended her membership indefinitely. I also sent her an e mail a week ago directly relaying this.
