      Purchased a FireFly from Rio Mobility. During the time it was purchased and the time it was received I deemed the product to not fit my standards. The box was received, unopened and returned for a return and refund. Multiple individuals from the company have written about how the device was damaged and I must incur a penalty of about $200 for these issues. Since it was never opened and returned immediately this is clearly a quality assurance issue at the company and should be investigated. If this happened to me, who else was affected by their incompetence.

      The customer said the Firefly did not fit through his doors, and was too heavy to use.  But If it was never opened, how could the customer deem this to be the case.   We saw, upon the return that the unit had incurred damage that was to be paid for out of the refund as is standard policy, however, given the spirit of the holiday we decided to fully refund the customer, as he states here. So this customer got what he wanted and still feels the need to write this review?

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have friends and cohorts who mention this so why would I want something that doesn't meet my standards? Would you accept something that was subpar after further review? Absolutely not. Your correspondence during this return process was unprofessional as you tried to bully your way to get money out of me for something I did not do. How could I have damaged the product if it was never opened? How many others have you tried to take advantage of during the whole process is the real question and should be received further by the powers that be. ***************** lacked and that is your fault so please conduct your own internal audit so others aren't negatively affected as we the disabled already deal with more than you could imagine on the daily. Thank you for refunding the entirety of the purchase

      How could it not meet your standards if it was never used? 

       

      Please go ahead and investigate this further as we have never had this happen before.  Your story changed 3 times as to why the unit was being retuned.
