I purchased a travel trailer from Blue Dog RV and received the trailer June 30, 2022. When we received the trailer Blue Dog told me that the refrigerator needed to be replace due to the door being out of alignment but that the refrigerator still worked and I could use the trailer. They said replacement of the refrigerator needed to be cleared through warranty first. My family and I went on our first camping trip at the end of July. During the camping trip the trailer slideout got stuck in the extended position. We called a mobile RV tech to get the slideout back in so we could go home. We left our trip early and dropped the trailer off at Blue Dog for repairs on July 29, 2022. As of today (8/19) the trailer has not yet been repaired for both the refrigerator and the slideout. The repair parts have still not been authorized under warranty and have not been shipped. I would like compensation for not being able to use the trailer and I would like it it be repaired. If it cannot be repaired in a reasonable amount of time I would like the unit to be replaced or fully refunded.Initial Complaint

I purchased a trailer and tow hitch from Blue Dog. The tow hitch that was installed by them caused problems to my car. They told me I had to take it to my dealership. My dealership said that the rear harness needs to be replaced(aftermarket) and to use a factory Hyundai tow hitch. Blue Dog said that they would not do this and would just send me a refund. It has been three months since I was told that I would get a refund. I have not received anything. I also have no towing capabilities like I had paid for.Business response

In early October I dropped off my new trailer that needed a few warranty items taken care of and I had requested quotes for some additional work I wanted done. Blue Dog RV has not given me the status of repairs after multiple calls and emails to them. They have not given me a quote for additional work. I cannot seem to get anyone on the phone and no one is addressing my email requests. I need to get my trailer back as soon as possible and I would like, at least, the warranty work to be completed. I will go elsewhere for the other work since they business does not seem to know how to manage their workload nor communicate effectively with customers.Business response

We apologize for the customer's frustrations. I have reached out to our Bakersfield Service Manager regarding the customer's concerns.
The Service Manager left a voicemail for the customer & also sent an email to the customer.
We are having our Parts Manager check on the status of the parts needed for the warranty repairs when he returns tomorrow.
The service advisor stated that the customer declined the provided quotes for upgrades.
We always encourage our customers to pick up their RV's while waiting on parts, so that the customer may use their RV while waiting on the warranty process.
Unfortunately, we have had issues with our email replies going to customers spam/junk email from our Redding location. I am not sure if this is the situation with customer ******, but it very well may be. Regardless, we apologize.
In the future if the customer is not receiving returned calls nor emails, please email *********@*********.com. We would like to make sure the customer is taken care of, regardless of short staffing issues.

Blue dog RV has had 3 months to get our paperwork and money to the California DMV, we now have a $80k fifth wheel we can’t use because we have no registration no plates and no answers. This is only one of about 35 things they have screwed us over on since buying this RV from Blue Dog ***********Business response
