03/03/2023 I brought. a 6-piece set of reclining furniture from ******** ********************************** for $2,295. I paid an extra $371 for them to deliver the furniture and move some other furniture from one room to another. Their store is located at ****************************************************. I live at **************************************************. It took them a couple of days to deliver. the furniture and when they did, the 3 persons that they had hider could not speak English. The furniture was never put together right. It can in 6 pieces, two end pieces, a reclined piece and three other pieces. The recliner piece in the middle never set right. The deliver people had no idea how it worked. They were called out to my home on two or three more times after the deliver. People were having a hard time sitting on the new furniture. One of people sitting on said furniture notices that a piece was sticking out and as hurting their but ox. I took a picture of it and sent it to East Bay **********************************. They again sent the same workers back out here. All this happened over the last 6 months.I've called ****** Furniture in Fairfield many times, could never speak with any, have visited them in Fairfield and spoke with a young woman named *****************************, my brother and I for about 30 to 40 minutes. She stated to us that the, one year warrant was still in effect. I've only had the furniture for 6months. She also stated that the furniture I brought is no long made they them and that replacing it was out of the question. As I have stated, I'm asking for a full refund and or replacement of said furniture.Business response

To Whom it may concern:
On 3/3/23 ***** respectfully came to our Antioch Furniture store.
He was shopping around for a sectional. We gave him ideas and pricing on all products he was asking about.
In the corner of our show room. There was a power 6pc (Display) sectional that ***** was
interested
in. It was explained to him that it is sold "as is" since its a display
and has remaining warranty. He agreed and the sale
was made. He
was only charged $135 for delivery and removal of old furniture. The
issue he was having was there's a power arm less recliner
that
has a power button on the side of it naturally the power recliner has a
gap so you can reach your hand on the side and push the button for it to
operate.
Our business sent out multiple technicians to inspect
the issue. It was determined that the gap was natural because of the
pushing of the buttons.
***** was not happy, so we order
a replacement arm less chair for him to help his issue. The replacement
took a bit long to get so he was frustrated, which we understand.
He
took it further and went to the manufacture, which is ****** Furniture
they told him same thing, that the sectional is under warranty and you
can get a replacement chair.
***** just wanted a refund which
under ****** Furniture policies was not an option. As of September 25th
2023 we have the replacement chair in our storage waiting
for
delivery but the customer denies wanting it. I am going to include in
the Attachments a picture of original receipt and evidence of the
replacement piece still in
in our store ready to be delivered to the customer once they confirm.

I am rejecting this response because: On Wednesday the 25th around 1:48pm asking me if I would except a chair that was in their warehouse and that the chair was ready for delivery on that day. I informed them that, if the chair they wanted to deliver was not category as the one I already had I didn't want it. First, the chair was not a recliner and of the same make of the one I had. But in our conversation t5he last time we talked, I told you that they did not have the same chair. In the end they said that they were going to contact ****** to see what they had. As I have stated before just refund me my money and delivery cost for said furniture. No more chances to fix the problem, it's been 8 months already. I'm not willing to do anything more to resolve this situation.

Purchase furniture from east bay furniture. I bought white custom made love seat and chair and half. Waited 3months for my furniture. It was delivered dirty.. not 1 spot but stains all over my new custom made white furniture. And 1 broken leg. Noticed stains upon delivery. Signed receipt stating the stains and took pictures with delivery guys . Furniture store stated they will clean furniture. It's 2 months later and nothing has been done.
