I used *************** in a Cross Country Move from ***********, ** to ********, ******* in October 2021.I sold my home and relocated to ******* and had to wait for my home to be built, as a result my items had to be placed in Storage.The day ***********, North American *** Lines arrived, it was raining. Immediately I observed many of my items unboxed, opened, re-taped and unwrapped laying loose.I contacted the mover *********************** immediately but got no response.I contacted home and staff several times with no response.I had a 15 x 20 climate controlled unit which just barely fit all of my items which I then placed a Padlock on.When my new home was completed in January 2022, I had my items moved to my new home.As I started unpacking I immediately noticed re-taped, boxes and many missing items.I contacted ***** and staff and indicated that information to them and that I wished to resolve this amicably first. He agreed and apologized and coped his staff that would be contacting me soon. That was over a month ago and have not heard back. I have the emails from those conversations.I created a list of the missing items as best I could and put a $500 price tag which I considered low but was hoping for a amicable resolution.Here is the list I provided, If you add the time spent acquiring and new cost of these items it would be greater than $500 Many of the original items are unavailable due to the supply chain shortage and cost much more.. What I am also upset about is that I graciously tipped the movers in ***** and they said that would take good care of my things.Costco Full pack of toilet paper $18 Sunbrella outdoor cushion $120 Sliding glass door security locking bar $25 Assorted Grill Tools $120 Brita and zero water filters $40 ******* Brushed nickel shower rod $50 Broom and dust pan $25 **** alarm clock $79 Garden hose $30 Assorted kitchen utensils $100 Car Wash, Car Wax, items and Accessories $200Business response

The customer has to file a claim by filling out a claim form either on line or we can mail him one. I don't see that the customer has filed a claim yet Here is the link to do on line https://claims.sirva.com/

I had used Alex ********************** and storage to relocate from *********, ********** to ******, ******* on September 30th 2020. I had paid 4500$ for the move and was told by ****** ***********) that I was being charged for a whole big truck as it was across the country move. When they delivered my stuff, they lost a suitcase with very expensive clothes, an airbag that had copies off all my original documents, and few other minor clothes and another airbag that I am not worried about. I need the suitcase with the expensive outfits and the airbag with the documents. On the day of delivery the truck had another persons stuff. On calling them repeatedly they said it must have gone in the storage of the other customer and he is not picking his phone or replying to them. I filed a claim and was refunded 30$. I chose not to purchase insurance as I was already paying a high amount.
