      My mom has Pacific Specialty insurance for her *********************** in **********. She received a notice of non renewal from the insurance because she needed to provide a copy of the property title. We provided ALL paperwork, the occupancy's agreement, the ********************** ownership of the home, 2024 property tax, and she was still denied. If this company has any knowledge of how ************* operates, they would understand that ********************** is the owner of the land and they hold the property title and the deed of the land, not the invidual resident. My mom pays her premium on time and never file a claim and thry are using a ridiculous excuse to deny her insurance. They should be ashamed of themselves for denying home insurance to an 80 yo woman. Pacific Specialty Insurance is unethical and unprofessional. They are unreasonable and unwilling to work with their clients. They collects yearly premium and cancel their insurance without just cause.

      I canceled my policy last year September 2024 via mail, however they never canceled it and therefore I was not reimbursed. I got a renewal this year 2025 and I called them immediately to tell them I had cancelled them in 2025. They did not want to back date to September 2025. I had them for almost 10 years I did have a claim one time but they were horrible to help me out, so I paid out of pocket. This is why I canceled them. They are rip offs.

      After I was given a solid price for homeowners insurance from ******** and made my payment an inspector came to my home. The inspector walked around my home and left, never came inside my home or garage, he reported to Allstate that my house had a wood and brick foundation so I had to pay more. This information came to me from a supervisor at ********, I told her my house has a concrete foundation not wood and brick. The supervisor said she was looking at my home and could see the foundation was concrete and asked if I could send her photos of the inside proving this. She wanted to challenge the inspectors ridiculous report. I see from other customer reviews that this is a common complaint where they send an inspector out after you pay so they can raise your premium. I am making a formal complaint with the State Insurance Commission. I cancelled the policy, now they get nothing. I was told by ******** that my insurance was with them and found out later after I paid that it was not because they stopped writing policies two years ago and they put me with Pacific Specialty **** I was also told my premium was final and would not change. Too many lies, if it starts out bad it will only end up bad. I am very happy with my new company through ****, they were honest, no games of bait and switch, plus I saved almost $1000! My advice is RUN from Allstate and Pacific Specialty....you can check out all of the similar complaints customers left on line. Thank you for reading this, hope is helps you decide.

      These people are liars. We have been insured by them for 10 years and have never made a claim. In Dec, 2024, we got a letter telling us they wanted some appliances removed or put inside the house. We had replaced our washer and dryer in Feb and had put the old ones on the back porch until we could get rid of them. We also stored some motorcycles on the porch and we had gardening tools leaning up against the house. There was a weedcutter and an ice chest in the back yard. They called those items "indoor appliances" and "debris". The picture they used was from before March because the appliances were taken away in mid-March. Some of the motorcycles were moved in June. They requested photos proving we had dealt with the issues so we sent them some. They told us to take photos from different angles because the first ones weren't satisfactory. We complied. After four times with them demanding more photos, they said that because we have a small tractor and "farm equipment isn't allowed", they were going through with the cancellation of our policy. This clearly wasn't them wanting to reduce their exposure to a claim, it was nothing but LIES to excuse their cancellation of our policy.

      Zero Star would describe this business. After one year back and fouth and providing at least ********* dollars receive and pictures, police report about the robbery , they sent a check for ********. I will never trust this business if they charge me thousands of dollars for my home and later would not cover the damages. . I ask myself is t worth it to have insurance at all?I had the same experience as previous rates and I had been in the game of back and fourth and voice mail without returned call and here I am left with anger and disapointed that the Pacific Specialty insurance Company takes your money and never supports you

      I would give no stars if I could. This insurance company is the worst insurance company that I have ever dealt with in my life. They take your money & do not want to come through with a payout. **************** leaves a lot to be desired. I filed a claim 2+ weeks ago and they have been giving me the runaround ever since. I was assigned a contact person named *********************. She has asked me for several items which I have provided. Since she was not specific on her request, some of the items had to be resent. And when I call or email it takes her days to get back to me. Her answers are often vague & unclear. In the meantime all of this stalling has left my condo ceiling still water logged with the fear of mold growing. I was advised to call a supervisor which I did. Of course it went to voice mail. Her voice message says that she would get back to me as soon as possible, so 3 days later I called again after calling my agent and she finally called me back. She was even worse than **************. I am definitely going to take further action. Something has to be done with insurance companies in this country. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

      As a licensed insurance agent, I have to say that the constantly-changing standards of Pacific Specialty are some of the absolute worst I have EVER seen in a single insurance company. I work in an office that uses Pacific Specialty as a brokered company, and I have had a number of occasions where Pacific Specialty sends non-renewal notices to customers. When customers address was written on the notice, and I call to follow up with the concern, the underwriters suddenly find another item that the insured needs to address. This is absolutely wrong and incredibly scam-like from the company. Most items on a non-renewal require a customer to spend money in some way (i.e. trim trees, remove foliage, remove debris, make a repair) and for Pacific Specialty to present additional items NOT in writing and OVER THE ***** when an insured tries to address the previously-documented non-renewal concerns is absolutely abhorrent. Because of the way they are currently handling their business, I would not recommend a single customer use *********************************************.

      Pacific Speciality has been an emotional and financial nightmare to work with. Our claim for a shower leak was filed back in October 2022, an adjuster came out, restoration company removed tiling and cabinets due to water damage and then Pacific Speciality refused to cover anything! The claim assistant lied and says she never gave permission for the restoration work to begin and that the water damage was and leak was not covered. We spent months with no access to our stove, exposed pipes in our kitchen and eventually had to spend thousands of our own money and time rebuilding our kitchen area and master bath with the support of family and a trusted handy man. Now the claim consultant wont even return our phone calls or emails, yet conveniently our monthly fees continue to be taken. This company is dishonest, and does a disservice to homeowners. We are eager to transition to a reputable company. Its April 2023 and we are still waiting for resolution.

      I submitted a claim almost a month ago. All workers have been ready since Monday but ***** my claims person went a-wall to everyone. Even Pacific Specialty couldnt get a hold of her. Its now Thursday and nothing. So I called for the 50th time wasnt leaving any message. They tried for a half hour to get a hold of ***** with no luck ******* comes back to the phone and said Tracis supervisor **** mite call you back today? Minded tomorrow is probably half day holiday weekend no work Monday, I have guys scheduled to come out Tuesday but on hold because of this God help them so called business.
