I asked for a consult for overloaded GFI circuit. ******* was clear with suggestions and professional with the conversation to find the best solution to the issue. The work we agreed to have done was quickly executed and he kept the area clean as he went along. The transaction was pleasant and easy. Ive used Dyer Electric twice. I have found them to be very professional and efficient! Their prices are reasonable and they wont try to talk you in to something you dont need. Previously, I had no need for an electrician since we moved to ********** 7 years ago. I asked for a recommendation from our A/C/Plumbing Company and they recommended 3 electrical companies - one was **** - who I called. Our problem was that all exterior outlets did not work and several in our garage. When I called, the person I spoke with, ********, told me that almost always the problem is a reset outlet usually in the garage - and it's often "hidden." So - my wife and I then checked throughout our house for a GFCI re-set outlet. We checked everywhere - found two in upstairs bathrooms but those were not the problem. We checked our garage. So--I had to call **** back and they were able to get us in that same day as one of the teams was in our area and finished their work early. The two technicians that came out (I'm sorry I did not get their names) were very friendly and excellent. We all checked everywhere and there were no such outlets seemingly to be found. They checked circuit breakers. Eventually, one of the men said he thought for sure it was a GFCI outlet. After checking everywhere he came up to a picture on our garage wall. I had checked behind that picture that morning and did not detect an outlet - it was dark and I checked on the opposite side. But he checked and he DID. And lo and behold, that outlet was a re-set outlet and the culprit. Dyer Electric and ******** tried to tell me what to do (and my wife and I thought we did) so to avoid a service call. **** is a trustworthy Company - the technicians are excellent, as is ********. Most often no one thinks about a **** receptacle as being the issue because more often than not it is in a different location. We have done business for many years with Dyer Electric and highly recommend them. We appreciate that the company is responsive, their pricing is fair and the electricians are knowledgeable, clean and respectful and work efficiently. The electrician called the day of appointment to introduce himself and to provide his estimated arrival time. During this visit, a pre-purchased kitchen ceiling light was installed. We also wanted to upgrade patio security lighting but didn't know what parts to purchase. The electrician understood and he purchased what was needed and efficiently completed the upgrade install. Easy peasy for us. No follow-up required. Per our request the office provided a receipt within a few days, via email.Dyer Electric Response
