Just received a bill for Hoa dues on a property that was bought and owned upright without any hoa dues. I lived here for 10 years. Why are you sending me a bill? I didn’t agree to anything with your company. Especially since you started charging me In January of this year. And I wasn’t even in town then. Please correct this. You are billing and charging someone who has no connection to you or your management company. I tried to contact you but you have no phone number on the bill, no email or website on the bill except for a shady P.O. Box address. I attempted to google your business and called the number I was able to find and left a message since there doesn’t seem to be anyone there to answer the phone, I also attempted to contact your company on a website that I had to try and find and also sent you a email that has gone unanswered. You need to correct this mistake. I have tried to resolve this but you are not reaching out to me. Once again I do not owe you anything. I don’t have an HOA with you or anyone else. There is no reason for me to get a bill saying I owe you 363.00. Fix this now or I will report your company for fraud.Business response

It is true that ***** ***’s residence was included due to a new admin not being aware that her property which is in the subdivision for which we are the association’s management company was not a part of the community association. We do apologize and have removed all reference in our system regarding Ms. ***’s property – I spoke with her and apologized and assured her this would not occur again. Let me know if you need anything going forward – thank you. Ms. *** is copied also on this email.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 19452099, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

1. We ask that former employee *** ***** ***** be paid his rightful vacation pay in the amount of $770.88. This was a benefit we, as an HOA, understood to be paid by Stratford Management since he was their employee at the time. 2. Payment in the amount of $8,221.32. Our contract indicated an onsite manager 40 hours per week, billed hourly. We were not provided with another manager the time Mr. ***** was unavailable, yet we were billed as if that were the case. 3. During the 40 work week that Mr. ***** was contracted with our association, Stratford assigned him 8 additional HOAs. This meant that during some of our day, work was being done for other associations. It seems wrong that Coronado Place would take the responsibility of that time and money. 4. We take issue with the fact that this company has been completely unresponsive to our repeated attempts to rectify this situation and solve it amicably. Repeated attempts to communicate with their manager, ******* ****, have resulted in confusion, deflection and accusations and we don't get the items we've asked for. In addition, we take issue with the fact that a certified letter we sent to the owners, Mr. ***** ***** and Mr. ***** *****, was completely ignored. There is probably nothing to be done about that, but it should be known that this is how this company does business. There have been three incidents in the past 2 months that required emergency repairs on the weekend all things that should be taken care of by the management company. Each time no one at the office has been reachable by phone. Two times the power has been out for several days and the company would not send someone to fix it in a timely manner. I have tried to contact people to find out what will be done if this happens again but no one will return calls or speak in person.Initial Complaint

They have not maintained the roof and my ceiling caved in and ruined my floors. They have finally agreed that they are liable for replacing them but will not return phone calls or emails to start the job. The have 3 estimates but are insisting on another but did not do anything else.
