We scheduled a cleaning of our solar water heater. They showed up and seemed to spend a reasonable amount of time cleaning out the system and replacing parts. I paid in full. That is not what I have a problem with. After they left, I realized I didn't have hot water anymore. I waited a day to call after I double check that the electricity and water to the heater were all on and to see if it just needed time to cycle through. I called the next day and talked to an office associate about getting a repair person out immediately, as they had left me with NO HOT WATER at no fault of my own. I thought it was just a value that needed adjusting or a switch that needed to be turned because the technician said everything looked great before he left. The office associate said he couldn't send anyone till 7 days out!!!?? Remind you, this was not my fault, and it WAS working prior. He said he would ask his supervisor if he could move people around and call me back that day.No call by 4:30, so I called. He said his supervisor never showed up, so I said can't you call him? Dead silence, then he said let me put you on hold. About 8 mins later, he says they will try to move people around in the morning and will get back to me. Guess what? No call the next day. So, before the office closes, I call to ask what's going on; he says oh yeah, you will have to wait the week. OH MY! Today a technician showed up and turned the valve, and 2 minutes later, I now have hot water. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULUES. Communication is horrible. If you say you are going to do something, DO IT. That is the heart of customer service. It is better not to say you will call someone back than have them wait on a call that will never happen. Your technician left without it working; moving forward, have them wait 5 mins and ask the customer to run the hot water for a minute to double-check everything is all right before leaving.Sun Splash Response

We are sorry you were left without hot water after the service. Yes - a final check and confirmation of operation is the plan, however the solar may not have generated enough hot water that quickly to verify. Again, we apologize for the discomfort and position of no hot water we left you in and our delayed response. We are working to be better. Thank You.Review from Rick And B

At this point, I would give them a negative rating. It is amazing how quickly they wrote up the sale and installed the system. In all fairness, we didn't have any problems with the system until a few months after the warranty expired. We were able to get someone to come out and he worked for awhile on something. It stopped working again and someone else was sent out. He said that it was the actuating valve. He said that it had to be ordered. When it finally came in, we were on the schedule for it to be replaced. We were given a pretty much all day window, so we never left the house. Half hour after the end time that he was supposed to be here, we were called to say that we had to be rescheduled because he ran out of time. It was rescheduled for the next day. Again, we stayed home all day. Again, half hour past the latest he was supposed to be here, we were called to say he had never showed up for work that day. You knew for 8 hours that he wasn't there and waited until the end of the day to call. We couldn't be rescheduled for almost a month which would have been today. Half hour before the end of his arrival time, we were called to say that he had a heat stroke. Ok I understand. It is hot. But this is now the third time. Do we know when he can come back? NOPE! Service is absolutely the worst. Our next step is the BBB and we are thinking about getting in touch with *********************, 3 on Your Side. He loves things like this.Sun Splash Response

Repair and valve replacement was completed on July 07, 2022 at no charge, no cost to customer. Repair fee was waived to offset scheduling-part availability inconvenience to homeowner.Review from Eliza G.

We have been trying to get our solar reinstalled since moving it from roof (May 2021) to rack mount. It took longer than anticipated to build the mount and install (Winter of 2021). When they tested it in winter the water didnt drain fully (poor design) so when it froze all the pipes shattered. Since then we have been dealing with ***** with absolutely no results. He came out to our house May 28,2022. He promised to call the following Wednesday, no call back so I called him on Friday (no results) blaming Melody for not calling us even though he said he was going to call. Im not sure when a crew will be out to fix the repairs. Its not looking promising. Im not sure what is going on with this company but I hope they will provide the service that we paid for. Weve been a customer since **** and never had a problem. Weve been patient and understanding but feel as though they do not care.Sun Splash Response

Very poor customer service and no shows on appointments as well. Will have to call another company to fix leaks and remove the stuff from the half done install job that was never completed.i can only assume they just don't care. They damaged our irrigation system and proceeded to hide the damage for us to discover!!!Sun Splash Response

This is the worst company I have ever delt with. Still waiting on a call back after I was told by one person "I will personally call you back". Like the other review I am going to have to call another company to resolve my solar panel issuesSun Splash Response
