      Bottom Line **** use them. Been six months closing on two properties ! They dont know what they are doing. And they do not give you a package of closing after closing date! Not worth your trouble !

      If there was a choice for no stars, I would have chosen that. DO NOT do business with them! We have been given the run around on our CLOSED escrow for a month now with NO payoff.

      Unfortunately First American Title experiencex a cyber hack which is costing their customers hundreds, thousands even. I'm one of those people and they can't bother to give me updates. Still waiting to close since 12/21 and I'll I get is "we don't know when funds can be released". Meantime they can't or won't tell me if or how my own data has been acessed and now maybe I have to worry about identity theft. I'm my opinion this has been poorly handled due to lack of communication. While I understand the desire to keep details quiet, they dint have the right yo tell us no information when they accepted abd are literally holding hundreds of thousands of my money with no end in sight.

      I have been trying to reach First American Title Insurance Company for over 2 months regarding past due maintenance fees on my timeshare in **********. I'm surprised ************************************ would partner with a company that is unresponsive and does not keep commitments. It has made for an unpleasant customer experience and has damaged the Marriott brand in my eyes.

      I refinanced my house through ***************************** that she used this HORRIBLE INS COMPANY A RED FLAG TO ALL!!!!!THEY DIDN'T PUT BACK THE LIVING TRUST AFTER REFINANCED..IT WAS VERY UNPROFFESIONAL STUPID Trying to straight it out no one knows how to resolve the problem ot even manager!!

      Closing process at the time was fairly smooth. What I'm upset about is that they "miscalculated" 6 months after closing and due to their incompetence, no only do they ask that I fix their mistake by mailing them a check for an extra $120.38, but they also threatened to *** me if I don't. Unbelievable!

      Approximately two months ago, I made a title claim on property that we purchased due to an existing lawsuit/property exchange that we were not notified of before or during the property sale. I was assigned ****************** for my claim. She is very unresponsive to my voicemails for any updates. I have left numerous voicemails with no return call. I have only spoken to her if i have been able to get her to answer when i call in which she had no updates only that she has not started to look into it yet. She has emailed me out of the blue once or twice but never with any updates. I contacted her superior ****************** in which I had to leave a voicemail with no return call as of yet. I called The superior again a different day to see if I could get her to answer but hung up when I heard the voicemail. Immediately I received a call back from a similar number but the line was busy when I returned the call. Im not sure if this is how they operate on a regular basis but beware!

      Truly garbage customer service. The only stressful part of my move was working with First American - avoid AT ALL COSTS. We contacted them on Monday to schedule closing for Friday - didn't hear from them by Wednesday evening, so my husband sent an email to follow up. They told him his email went to the junk folder and they'd take care of it Thursday and we could sign Thursday - I had to leave work at 8:45 pm because they were sending a notary over to us at 9:30 pm Thursday night. The communication between employees was non-existent, and with both my husband, my mortgage company and my realtor following up with them multiple times each on Thursday and Friday, we sent the wire on Friday morning and even after funding was approved, didn't get the clearance to move onto the property until we were 4 minutes away with a Uhaul full of all of our belongings - and that was WITH four different people calling them multiple times to get some type of answer. Essentially, our escrow assistant ghosted us. Horrible experience - will absolutely never use them again. When buying from Offerpad, they're the only title company option - we won't consider buying from Offerpad in the future for this reason.

      Im leaving 1 star because I have to pick something in order to leave a review. This company is terrible! Employees are worse! *************************** should not be employed. She is a bigot and a racist! First American needs to be careful before a law suit falls into their laps with this disgusting human working there.

      Stay far far far away from these lying pieces of c*** people at this title company and inline lending company!!!! A month after doing a cash out refi, and still do not have all checks for the payoffs.the lying owner says he will fix it, makes promises to fix, and here it is over 30 days past closing, and still not fixedhe ignores most of the messages to himhis employee, ***********************, was told not to do something one way, because creditors would not accept it, and he did it anywayhe was told multiple times alsoand here it is 30 days past closing, and still FIGHTING them to get it fixedthe owner lies and says he will refund money for fees that were charged due to their negligence, but nope, he is just a scheming liar.30 days past closing, and still trying to get this mess fixed from their incompetencestay far away!!!!!
