Our Management Team at Lawrence Motorsport has reached out to the client to get more information regarding the complaint and has been working with ********************** directly for a resolution. We have confirmed that the Cilajet product he purchased was in fact applied to his vehicle by our third party vendor on 9/2/22. Additionally, we confirmed paintless dent repair was also performed by our third party vendor on 10/11/22 on Mr. ************************ at no cost to him. To date, our team continues to communicate and work with the client to address his concerns.Initial Complaint

Hello,In April 2021, I purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL for $50K. There was a flyer posted on the window that advertised $5K NEW LIFT PK. See attachment. The salesman (******) sent me a ******* video that advertised a 3 ***; lift. It came with 35 tires, so it appeared lifted BUT IT WAS NOT (as I later found out). I asked "what specific lift kit was installed" and ****** replied that they didnt know because the original owner installed it. After delivery, I compared my frame-to-floor clearance with other lifted and similarly-equipped Jeep Rubicons. Low and behold, their clearance was 3 higher than mine. I brought this to the attention of the owner (Ethan ************************ showed him the 5K lift package flyer and my actual frame clearance photos. He said I cant be responsible for a minimum-wage workers mistake. I asked him to cover the cost of a 3.5 kit ($2,000 and up) and his response was Ill see you in court. UNBELIEVABLE!I have another complaint - they failed to disclose to me that since the car was originally sold as new in Canada, the factory warranty doesn**;t transfer to a new owner. I actually learned this at the final signing of the final documents in the final minutes of the close of the sale. That is terribly unethical, as the **-sold Jeeps always allow warranty to transfer and it was worth approx. $2,000.This is a high end dealership that sells $40,000 - ******* vehicles and should be punished.I filed with the ** Attorney General. They merely communicated my concerns to the dealer and the dealer blew me off. Please help me file this complaint via H363137**3238313831H. Please let me know if I have other means to address my concerns and force this dealer to operate more legitimately. Thanks for your help.Cheers, *** ************Business response

As we explained in our multiple responses to the ******* Attorney General:
1. In accordance with state and federal guidelines, the vehicles present in the showroom have a Window Sticker adhered to the front window listing the sale price and a Buyers Guide listing any and all known warranties.
2. In addition to ********* Used Car Implied Warranty of 15 days or 500 miles, LMS offers, at no additional charge, an additional limited 30 day ***** mile warranty for internal lubricated parts where the dealer will pay up to 50% of parts and labor for authorized repair of covered systems. We also offer various extended vehicle service contracts for purchase.
3. Installing a 2-inch leveling kit with oversized, aftermarket tires and wheels will increase the units overall ground clearance by approximately 3 to 4 inches.
****************** purchased his vehicle from LMS on 2/24/21 for below market value with $5,000 in aftermarket equipment, including a lift. The lift that was installed was 2-inch leveling kit with oversized, after-market tires and wheels that was appraised and assessed to increase the ground clearance by approximately 3 inches.
The lack of factory warranty was fully disclosed on the Buyers Guide and the Window Sticker adhered to the vehicles front windshield that was visible when ****************** arrived at LMS. It was verbally disclosed by the sales associate and manager that this vehicle was a ******** import and that the two months of the remaining factory warranty would not be honored by Chrysler.
At the time of signing, the lack of factory warranty was reiterated and an extended service contract at an additional cost was offered. He declined. He did sign the Buyers Guide clearly acknowledging the disclosure of the lack of the factory warranty and he signed the waiver declining the purchase of an extended service contract.
To date, LMS has offered to buy his Jeep back from him three times in the spirit of customer service. He has declined each time.Customer response

Please send Mr. ********************** a calculator. A stock 275/70R17 tire on a Jeep Rubicon has an outer diameter of **** inches. The car "as purchased" had 305/70R18 has an OD of **** inches. This will raise the vehicle by 1/2 of the difference which is a little more than 1 (ONE) inch. Sorry, that response is complete c*** Fess up to your ripoff Ethan!

As for the warranty...the ethical thing to do would be to advise the client IN ADVANCE (not at final document signing) that the vehicle was originally sold in ****** and that Jeep does not honor factory warranties on vehicles that a resold in ***. You duped my friend *************************** of *********************** on this as well - on his near new 2020 Jeep Rubicon. He did not get to enjoy his 3 year bumper to bumper warranty ! This is pure unethical garbage!

We are sorry to hear that ****************** is still upset. We believe management has gone above and beyond to remedy this situation in offering to purchase the vehicle back from him. He has refused on multiple occasions. ****************** purchased a used vehicle with a leveling kit and aftermarket accessories that were assessed/appraised properly. It was verbally disclosed by members of the sales team that this vehicle was a ******** import, and that the factory would not honor the two months of the remaining warranty. To this end, he signed the Buyer's Guide acknowledging this lack of factory warranty for the remaining few months and he waived the extended service contract that was offered to him on more than one occasion. There is nothing more we are prepared to offer him at this time.Customer response

Lawrence Motorsport is ignoring the fact that they ADVERTISED a 3.5" lift kit and in reality the vehicle was NOT equipped as advertised. A refund doesn't help me. I invested an enormous amount of time researching and test driving vehicles. I AM DONE DOING THAT. I simply want reimbursement the cost of this add-on and they refuse.
