10/19/23, $729.00. Handle on toilet didnt work. Moisture at grout on floor. Nothing else needed.******* told me my toilet is ten years old and I should replace it. I was shocked because I bought two toilets ten years ago and have had no issues other than above statement. He said to replace inside of toilet would cost me almost the same as new one. I was shockedhe said I could save if I bought toilet myself, I did, he said installing would be around $500. I was still shocked, I should have told him I would think about itbut I said ok. Next day he installed toilet then said I needed a part (that costs $40.00) he charged me $269.00 for part MORE than toilet costs. I couldnt believe it.*** tried email, called to speak to supervisor who said he would speak to plumber and call me yesterday. He didnt call, I called late yesterday, left message no response. Called this AM left message, havent heard anything back. I feel I was up-saled to buy toilet when I didnt need one and then charged for a part to make up for me buying the toilet myself.Initial Complaint

On 6/15/21 I hired AC by Jay to come out to my house to check out my AC as it was running 16+ hours and unable to keep my house cold. A technician by the name of Brett arrived. He seemed like a very knowledgeable and smart guy. Upon inspecting my unit he indicated that it was a 3-ton unit and it was undersized for my house. I was immediately taken back as the AC company that I purchased it from sold me a 5-ton unit. How could an unscrupulous company sell me a 5-ton unit and then install a 3-ton! One of AC by Jay field supervisors by the name of Mike calls me on 6/16/21. He says that he can sell me a Carrier 4-ton unit for roughly $8600 or $9600 depending on if I wanted a more efficient unit. Being a prudent business owner I look to get a few more quotes before moving forward. I find a company that says they can get me a Trane unit but I better hurry because there are supply issues and they're not sure how long they will have stock. He gives me a price much lower than AC by Jay so I doBusiness response

There was a misread on the unit size during a service tech visit. Our client was very concerned with the misinformation and brought it to our attention. After reviewing the situation, we realized the mistake on our end, and got another tech back out to re diagnose the clients concerns and completed the necessary work at no charge for the client to make this right. After speaking with Mr. Whittaker, he was satisfied and thankful for the resolution. Thank you.
