Great instructors great team teaching all procedures got my cdl in 4 weeks

Everything was going well for a while about 70% in my favor to achieve a CLD. But about about middle of the program. I was called boy once and young man two times by fellow students. I concluded a hostile environment. I brought these incidents to the attention of the staff. They did an investigation. No mention was to restarting me in another class moving me to another class or a partial refund of my cost or making arrangements for me at another institution. Not wanting to be involved in what I concluded as racism and hostility. I stopped attending class. I am African American a Veteran and a Senior Citizen.

If I could give zero Stars I would this is a horrible place to get your CDL the instructors are very rude and all they do is yell they do not teach you anything they act like you have been driving for years you'll have very little time to use their equipment and they rush you out of it 5 minutes out of time is all you get two times a day the law requires you to put in 160 hours of actual range and road experience with the vehicle at most you'll be receiving five actual hours with the vehicle for the whole time you're there they have so many students this school should be actually shut down the advertising 4 weeks to receive your cdl it's very rare if anyone does most just drop out and they keep there money. The D.O.T or whoever needs to look into this place.

Was not happy, attended the program for 8 weeks (60days). Accomplished my B2B, permit and Pre-Trip, but could not get the Quality of **************** to get me pass my Straight back, Off Set and Parallel parking. I have urged the institute to provide me hands on 1 -to-1 training to better understand the movement of the steering wheel in refernce to the trucks directional movement but never received it. I was rushed to take tests when my 160hrs were complete without the proper time behind the wheel. Out of the 320hrs I received I can say I received 5-6 hrs behind the the wheel. The instructor to student ratio is ***** students / 1instructor. 15mins behind the wheel after an 8hr day, starting at 5:30am. I was told I was not confident, and that was true I never received the proper training. FYI, the trucks breakdown a lot, the number of students increase but a lot have a hard time graduating. I've expensend by time, labor and resources but was failed..Their program should be tested before anymore students get tested with their checkbook."Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you!!"

I would caution anyone who signs up with this school. I left after the second day and canceled. My refund out of $1,000.00 was $400.00. This is robbery. I left because they spent 1 hour each day on roll call. Then the instructors were unorganized and didn’t even know who they were taking out driving. Then of the day and a half I was there, I only spent 15 min. in a truck backing up. They have 1 instructor to 10-15 people. Southwest on the other hand has 1 instructor for 4 people. The first day I learned off set and parallel parking. I spent 20 hours driving and 20 hours practicing back up. I passed my test the first time out. My complaint is; their refund is BS for the day and a half I was there.
