I have been using this clinic for several years to have all of my tattoos removed. Up until recently I have never been anything but satisfied with the quality of their work. Sometime during COVID the doctor who provided the treatments quit. They now have a completely new staff with NO doctors only laser technician's. My last two treatments were conducted very differently and I could tell that something wasn't right. Normally I would receive 5-6 injections of a numbing agent but the last two times they did between 30-40 injections (they charge per cc) Also every time I had previously had a treatment there would be really nasty bruising for a couple of days this time there was no bruise just itching and swelling. I have always noticed a huge difference in fading after a treatment but no difference at all the last two times. The technician actually told me they had been advised to turn the laser to its lowest setting so people would need more treatments.Business response

Thank you for taking the time with me on the phone this past week. We appreciate the opportunity to serve and address your concerns. There have been many adjustments in the past year as we adapted to changing circumstances of a pandemic to emerge as an even stronger and better trained team. During Covid, our Medical Director chose to resign. So, when we reopened last May, Dr. Chung, a licensed N.M.D. who has been with Delete since 2013, became our Medical Director. She and Desiree, our lead laser tech who has been with us since 2016, have expertly and extensively trained our laser technicians and medical providers. Our team is constantly perfecting the tattoo removal process and pictures of our results are nationally recognized for excellence. Our laser and team are “best in class.”
Injectable lidocaine numbing was sold by the CC prior to the Covid shutdown, but is now simplified to a modest, flat rate directly correlated to the size of your tattoo removal area. If a patient needs more lidocaine, the price remains the same as quoted.
Healing varies by patient & treatment based on the layers/colors of the tattoo targeted. Sometimes, our patients have minimal downtime, and other times they might need more.
Lastly, our team is trained to target the lowest layers of the skin to remove the deepest ink first. This allows for the best tattoo removal outcomes. We apologize if this was not explained clearly to you. Our technique delivers countless, successful, and faster tattoo removals.
A core value or ours is “unconditionally guarantee our products and services through transparency”. I believe our technician was being transparent explaining her need to target deepest ink. Unfortunately, it seems her communication was not clear. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience and misconceptions. As discussed, we are happy to and have issued your refund since you were unsatisfied.
