      We got solar from Suntria. The original salesman figured out how many panels we needed gave us a quote. Told us we would have almost no entergy bill after a few months. Also said we would get a generac generator that could run the whole house plus some gift cards for our favorite restaurant. All this was a lie. First, he messed up the quote. I ended up having to get another loan for more panels. I am now paying almost $400 for the panels plus I'm still paying $150+ for entergy. This is ridiculous. I never got the gift cards. I did get a generator but it was way undersized for my home and he never got it installed which he said he would do. I ended up selling it for cheap because no one would contact me back about the installation of it. I was told I would get a tax refund to cover the amount to pay back that way my bill doesn't increase. That wasn't true. You do not get the 15k back , its only the amount you paid in taxes. They lied about that. I do not recommend anyone get solar from Suntria. I want to cancel everything. They can come take back their equipment. They dont even have to repair my roof afterwards I would take care of this myself. I just want out of this. And Suntria, dont contact me unless you can get me out of this contract. If I have to I will get a lawyer since I was lied to and all the promises never happened. I have text and emails proving everything. I am in debt because of all this garbage.

      Beware that this company is not above lying, misleading, and pressuring in order to sell you solar and that they also have no problem leaving you high and dry when they don't deliver on their promises. This company installed solar panels on my roof, didn't turn them on until the return period was over so when I realized that it didn't cut my electricity bill to zero and replace it with the solar bill like I was told it would, I was unable to stop it. I tried working with the company to resolve the issue and instead was met with stonewalling tactics. Additionally, the man who sold me the panels failed to warn me about the yearly price hikes. This company single handedly turned my billing situation from one which I was comfortable in to a precariously close to bankruptcy situation. The hidden fees, hidden yearly price hikes, and the electrical bill that did not improve are tanking my finances and this company does not care. Do not let them pressure you into purchasing. You will regret it and they will pass you off between other companies and blame it on everyone but themselves instead of addressing customer issues. I believe in **********************, but not from this company. In a perfect world, I'd rip the panels off my roof and hand them back. I'd rather buy a new roof than pay for these solar panels that do absolutely nothing for me $40,000 in the hole later.

      Clear no solicitation signage. Pushy salesman interrupted Friday evening at 8:30pm July 11, 2025 to badger us into solar purchase.After clearly declining the offer and pointing out our no solicitation signage; the salesman asked us why we wouldnt be producing solar power, admonishing us.

      Suntria solar system is a scam. The sale representatives provide misleading information. They claim a tax break in order to lower the loan payment.(false) They claimed panels can be relocated to new home (false). **************** is never available and technicians aren't well versused to install panels properly hence it took 6 months to completely install my panels.

      Suntria Solar panels were installed on my house and the sales representative told my husband and I that the company would take care of everything to get the panels installed correctly. We had to question them about the direction and placement of panels and when the guys placing them looked at the placement figured they were in fact being placed incorrectly and "corrected" it. We also had to get trees trimmed after they had someone come to do it because they didn't trim the ones we were told would be done for panels to work. Sales representative stated that the panels would save 50% on electric within a year. We didn't see even a 15% decrease on electric in that first year. We contacted the company several times about panels not working correctly we reached out to sales representative and was told we needed to contact company. Company told us it was our electric company. We stopped payment on panels after 3 years and our electric bill went down. We were paying more for electric with panels that were supposed to save 20% per bill and 50% within a year. We done electric comparisons before during and after and panels were not even saving 15%. There was a call from company after we stopped payment and when going over all the issues that were not addressed they put a *** lien on our house. We have contacted company to come get their panels and we are only told they can't and will not be addressing any issues with panels to fix the problems.

      BUYERS PLEASE DO A LOT OF RESEARCH!!!! We are extremely dissatisfied with our experience with Suntria and feel misled by our salesman. Weve only had our solar panels for 3.5 months, and they have not performed anywhere near what was advertised. The energy output from our 15 panels has been deeply disappointing.When we signed on, we were told we could take the panels with us if we moved. Now that we are relocating, weve been informed that Suntria does not service our new state and that removal isnt an option. Then we were told we could transfer the loan to the homes new buyersbut realistically, most buyers cant take on an additional large loan after securing a mortgage. This was not clearly explained to us.We feel Suntria used misleading sales tactics just to close the deal, with no support now that we need it. As we try to sell our home, this situation has become a major burden. Our experience reflects what weve seen echoed in many other customer complaints, and its unacceptable.We would strongly prefer to sell the panels back to the company and be done with them. Something needs to be done to address this pattern of misleading practices and lack of support.We are in so much debt now, with an extra monthly bill and now will most likely not get any money back once we sell the house because we will have to pay off the solar panel loan at closing I cant stop crying. HUGE REGRET!!

      Around March 23, I had a Suntria Salesperson come to my house. I was promised that the solar panels would save me money on electricity and improve the value of my home. During the same time frame, I was getting a new roof. I specifically told the young man that I did not want any damages. He assured me that his technicians were "professionals". I got the solar panels installed around June in which their young technicians made a mess all over the yard leaving debris including nails. Then during the raining season, I discovered leaks. I did call them and was told they would cover the cost for the roofer to come out. When I called the roofer, he had told me that he had not received payment. This occurrence (the leaks) happened on 2 separate occasions. The panels also did not function correctly for several months. After having a few technicians come to reinstall and rewire, the panels showed as functioning in the app. However, there was no relief in my electric bill and when I inquired about this I was told that I must be using more than I am producing and then I was told that I live in a coop area therefore, I would not see relief. So now I pay a full electric bill and a solar bill. Then, I was also promised that I would get $15,000 back for my taxes as an energy credit. Not true, what I got was the taxes I had paid back for that year, causing an increase in my solar panel bill in December since I couldn't make the full amount to bring the balance down. Now, I'm at a point where I want to sell my house. Unfortunately, my realtor tells me that I would have to remove the solar panels because his other clients do not want the panels without a battery. I did inquired about that too to Suntria. I was told that it would have cost me an additional $17,000. When I inquired about my payoff amount, I had only paid off less than $200 since I had started payments of Aug. 23. This has caused me so much anxiety that I have had to start medication. I just want this to go away.

      Good afternoon, My name is ******* ********, and I am the Legislative Assistant to Representative *****. We've had a constituent, an older gentleman reach out to us about some solar panels he was deceived into buying. He was told solar panel installation on houses was agreed upon by the state and federal governments, and presumably that it was mandatory for him to buy them. The transaction happened around mid-December 2024. He was charged $24,012 through a monthly $92 payment that goes on for 25 years. They were also told after 18 months they would have to pay an additional $7,200. The gentleman states he didn't even receive paperwork. The company that made the panels was "Enphase" and the seller is "Suntria". Unfortunately, it sounds like he has been scammed by deceptive salesmen. After only a 10 second ****** search, I found an identical case like this in ******** just a little less than 2 years ago " ***************************************************************************************** ". The constituent is principally wondering if he has been scammed and if so, how he can get out of the mess. Furthermore, he does not want the solar panels and asked to get them removed to which he was told no. He also wants to know what the onetime charge of $7200 is and why he has no paperwork from the transaction whatsoever. The company has not tried to resolve the issue, only telling him that they won't remove the solar panels.       We had solar installed in april of 2024.Our solar salesman, **** from suntria, misrepresented information on the federal solar tax credit. He told us it was a refund that we would get to put towards the bill to keep our payment what is has been the last year. We did not receive this "refund" it is a credit and we didn't get enough back to pay our bill down the 10k he said we would get. I call goodleap to get more information and they said I would have to wait for 2 years basically to make that 10k back to pay them. I need to get my account to 25k for my payment to stay the same but like I said we didn't get that in the form of a refund like we were told

      In March 2024, we purchased a solar system from Suntria, which went live in April. Our contract states we should receive a 74% offset in electricity usage, but we're only achieving around 30%. Two months ago, we contacted Suntria and provided everything they asked for, including electric bills. We also spoke with ***********, which confirmed that our billing accurately reflects solar production, and it appears the system as installed cannot meet the stated contract offset.Despite our repeated requests for a solution, weve seen no meaningful progress from Suntria. Weve asked multiple times to speak with management or get their direct contact details, but none have been provided. We even submitted a contact form on the corporate website, with no response. A customer service representative did acknowledge the system is underperforming, but nothing further has been done. Meanwhile, our original salespersons email now bounces back as invalid, suggesting they are no longer with the company.Were concerned Suntria may be delaying resolution until our contract hits the one-year ***** after which we could lose important leverage to have this addressed. We urge Suntria to act promptly, communicate clearly, and honor the terms of our contract.
