I don't write many 1- star reviews because, hey-- ya gotta be pretty bad to deserve one. I even deleted my past review for this company because they requested I do ****** am not out to hurt a business-- BUT, I truly feel that I would be doing a disservice to other potential customers by not following through with an honest review. It would be boring and too long to report the numerous things that were done incorrectly in the 9-mo that it has taken to finish our pool. This company may have been reliable and trustworthy 40 years ago, but-- from our experience-- not anymore. Our ENTIRE process was extremely stressful, full of delays, mistakes and blaming of anyone but their own company. Communication was virtually nonexistent unless we engaged. Do your research and be sure to read all the reviews. We are not alone. Really a shame for such an old company. Sorry, but based on our miserable experience, we would never advise anyone use this company.UPDATE: Still battling Rondo problems. Had to call in warranty on heating system. Turns out Rondo team overloaded the panel and also left behind debris that caused our system to error... ugh!UPDATE AGAIN! We are so upset over the problems we have experienced with Rondo-- we are seriously considering going to the builders board and then following up with legal action. $85,000 for mistake after mistake with no gesture of apology. This company and it's subcontractors have screwed up so many times, we have HAD IT!!!! Our pool is now without heat because the Rondo overloaded our panel-- not enough power?! BEWARE! In our opinion this company is mismanaged and doing the minimum to get by...

I could not have made a worse decision picking Rondo as our pool builder. We signed our contract in March of 2021. They estimated an 8 months build time. Since covid made everything delayed we were ok with that time frame. Fast forward five months and they still hadn't even dug. They called us and said hey we have a clause in our contract that says if we haven't dug in in 120 days or somewhere around there we can up our prices. I said well it is through no fault of ours you couldn't dig and we thought we locked in our pricing when we signed the contract. They said no we want another $5,000 or we will not start. We have you scheduled to dig in 2 weeks but you have to pay this extra money. We already gave the deposit and they knew if we called it off we would be at least a year out with another builder and more money so we were very unhappy but paid the money. It has been 14 months since we signed and we still do not have a pool. It has been one disaster after another. I wish I could go back in time and use someone else. I was told everything should be done by May 1st and that is not even close to happening. Don't walk, run the other way from this awful company. Trust me you can find better!!!!

All I have to say is stay away from Rondo pools. Our pool building process has been a nightmare. Not talking about length of time because of covid. Even though it has been almost a year and not done yet. Talking about mistakes and taking months to get them to fix the mistakes. Supervisor calling me a liar, arguing that I am wrong and don't know what I am talking about, no communication, being promised things that never happen, nobody knows whats going on etc. So much I could write that has happened it would take hours. Maybe they were a great company in the past but they have gone way down. We are very unhappy with them.

Very bad communication, take so long to finish a swimming pool.
