We hired Aquavida to resurface our pool in March of 2016. We selected the PebbleScapes product that has a 10 year warranty. In May 2021, we noticed some cracks in the bench and step. I reached out to Aquavida, no call back. Summer was approaching so we knew they wouldn't probably do the repairs at that time but I still continued to try to reach them, with no success. In October, I began to get frustrated and sent an email, still no response. More phone calls and I finally reached ****** (who I think is the owner) sometime in December. He was somewhat evasive and said the contractors were busy but would try to get someone to look at it soon. I continued to call and get the empty promises. On March 2nd, I spoke with ****** and he asked if he could have access to the backyard. Then re proceeded to start telling me all the reasons the warranty wouldn't be honored and all the things he was an expert in and that when he saw the pool, he would immediately know what the cracks were from. At the beginning of the conversation, he asked if the cracks were in the steps and I said yes and asked how he knew that and he said it was the most common place. I told him I felt like he was already finding reasons not to honor the warranty. I said how I felt was not his concern. He then launched in to how much money his companies made and he's an expert. I told him we spent a lot of money on this pool and one reason we selected his company was the warranty so I was frustrated that he was already trying to get out of it. He said a few more things that were HIGHLY unprofessional. We left it that he would be sending someone to look at the pool. On March 10th, ******* came to look at it and said he would be repairing it as soon as ****** drained the pool. More follow up calls and confusion but finally ******* came to repair the pool on April 20th. The material they used does not match and crack is still there. More unanswered calls, text and emails.
