      They are the worst ever! It was more than a week that I was waiting for my IVF medication, and they simply asked me to wait more to receive my package some day. I was not sure what the condition of my medications was after being on the way for about 10 days. Zero sense of understanding that my IVF process could not wait for their package to come. I got 3 days off to be at home and sign for the package, and every single day they said "your package will be delivered tomorrow". I kept calling them every day, and last time it took 2 hours to talk to them on the phone, but they did not understand that I need my medication on time. They did not want to accept to cancel the previous package and send me the new ones. Each time I called them they simply said "wait!" but finally after putting me through so much stress and waiting a lot of my time they sent me new medication at the last moment. Long story short, if you want a smooth IVF process and do not want to mess it up with their irresponsibility AVOID ordering your medication from Avella. They are nightmare!!!

      Avella Pharmacy needs to take the time and effort to train their employees. Unfortunately, I had an awful experience, causing a medical emergency due to an employee making a major error. I called the pharmacy to refill a prescription and spoke to Nicole. I made Nicole I needed a next day delivery. She informed me that it wouldn’t be a problem. I made it very clear I needed the medication the next day. Also, I had refilled the same medication for a lower co-pay and couldn’t tell me why it was more expensive. I completed my call with her and went about my day. As the day went on, I became concerned that I didn’t receive a ***** notification and called the pharmacy. I spoke to another representative that stated it was out for a Monday delivery. The medication needs to be refrigerated and can’t be on a truck through a weekend or it can’t be used. The representative stated she can’t do anything at this point due and I needed to call back. I called a little later and they tried to reroute it and said it was completed and I should receive it. I spoke to supervisors and representative multiple times and didn’t receive the medication. I was put on hold for lengths of time and told I would be called back. This is a pharmacy and should not be so mismanaged. I was put under so much stress due to an incompetent error. This is a medication that needs to be taken three times a day for fertility and can cause complications if I do not take it. Their incompetence and inability to correct the error and cause major medical problems. I would recommend not using this pharmacy. I have better service and follow through with a ***. This pharmacy should be under review and closed down.

      Truly a horrific company. Because they essentially had the monopoly on the medication I needed with my insurance, I was with them for 2 painful years. The every single month was something. I don’t think in 2 years I had a single delivery go without a hiccup, numerous times causing me to delay or fully miss doses. Whether it was not requesting refills on time, not communicating that I needed a new prescription or that my next refill is needing a new prescription, that my insurance authorization is up, mistyping my address on the box, 35 minute wait times, zero sympathy to the fact that their screw ups are making me miss medication doses in its entirety, and numerous other issues, it was always something with this company. I can honestly say, that I don’t think I would wish this company on my worst enemy. And one day, their neglect, ineptitude, unprofessionalism, and overall lack of any care for the patients whatsoever may cost someone their health or life. I pray that isn’t the case, but if that happened I would not be surprised. And I truly hope that by that point maybe they will hold someone responsible for this travesty of a company. I do not want to mince my words, so I’ll be clear. This company should have every license revoked in its entirety and doors bolted shut.
