This complaint seems to be a very common issue. Mine is same as others filed. Keeping in mind, my address, email and phone number has not changed in well over 12 years. They indicated there have been many attempts to reach me. Multiple calls in 7/23 stating that I made a trial purchase in January 2021 and paid only s&h of $4.?? with a card that has not been in use for well over 2 years. When they try to charge the card 2.5 years later, it was denied. So the escalation department called, demanding payment of nearly $300. When I asked for some type of written notice, they said the email was sent at time of purchase in January 2021!!!! They refused to provide any type of documentation or product information so I could do my due diligence to determine if I need to pay. Part of the script is that they threaten that your credit score could be affected. Supervisor, *************************, quote you need to pay, or you will suffer the consequences. Auto shipments will be sent and will cost you a whole lot of money. I have spoken with 4 different people and they all have the same script and refuse to send an email with information. The ONLY email they will send is after payment is made. I looked at the website, I dont even recognize the products, it was almost THREE years agoI believe this to be a scam. I will not be paying.Initial Complaint

I was called a year after the 14 day trial was provided. I remember calling immediately after getting the trial to cancel. They said all was good. They call today saying I own $80 some dollars and that they would escalate it tomorrow to the credit bureau. I asked to talk to the supervisor, the woman says "I am the supervisor." So I told her I want to talk to whoever she reports to. I then spoke with someone named ***********************. They had my address, my card number, my phone number, my email. I told them I want an invoice. They said "we are a small company and can't do that." I said as a customer I have a right to this. They refused. So I just told them I can't pay more than $40. They said ok. I didn't want my credit score to be affected and felt like I had no choice - now I feel like an idiot. I told her I would pay if they send me a paid in full invoice. She said oh yes, by email. Ok, sounds great. Then she passes me back to the original person. And now that woman is saying "Ok, now you need to pay for product 2 and 3, so that is $150.00 additionally." I told her no, the woman said I was paid in full. I told her I cannot pay more than $40 and I do not authorize payment on my card for that amount. She hung up. Absolute scam. I cancelled my debit card immediately. I said fine to this $40 charge. If they call again I will tell them no to any payment and fine, do something to my credit score. Nowhere I would get credit from would care about an unpaid $80 balance, especially after hearing this story. The fact that they refused to send an invoice was proof enough of the scam. I had bad credit years ago and went through the process of getting everything paid. Every lender was more than happy to send a paid in full letter noting they would notify the credit bureau themselves of the verified payment. Everyone always followed through with this. If you feel like you have no choice but to pay, tell them you can only pay for a small amount. They are desperate and will say yes.Initial Complaint

A person called me from Magnetique ******************* using the number **********. This person said I owed $89.52 based on a credit card purchase with a card ending in **** (card ending for a card that I haven't used in over 5 years) for a purchase made in January of 2021. Supposedly I signed up for free trial that turns into a monthly subscription. They claim I paid the initial shipping cost for 4 something dollars with that credit card ending in ****, but when the company tried to charge for the next month the card was declined. They claim I agreed to these terms of the subscription. Now I owe them $89.52. The company shipped the product to an address I haven't lived at for the last 6 or 7 years. ***************************************************************** is the address they gave. They said they sent an email stating this to ************************* I haven't been able to recover this email the company said they sent. I know the people living at that address at the present time, and they believe no such bottle of hair growth had been sent. The Magnetique ******************* says I need to pay the money so they can close the account and only then can they send me an email stating it is closed. I requested an email from them stating what I owe, for what product, with a date, and a comply name/address/phone number. The guy said they couldn't send any email until I paid the money. He also said this would go to collections and affect my credit report. He did give me the number of there customer service **********. Sounds like the same guy answers the phone. He can't send me any proof of this happening, but it is scary because they have old but legit credit card ending, email, and house address. They also have my phone number somehow.Initial Complaint

On 10/12/22 I received a call fro, ***************, claiming I owed them money for a purchase of Biotin hair Products made in November of 2021. I told her I never received any products. She claimed she had proof, that I only paid for shipping with my **** card and unless I cancelled I owed for product and future auto deliveries..When I requested proof she said she could not provide that until I settled the debt. In checking my records I show nothing on my **** Statement of any shipping charges. Furthermore, I'm 80 years old and in October of 2021, I broke my left shoulder, I still cannot raise my left arm to shampoo my hair! Magnetique is the name of the company, I talked to a supervisor (*********************) he told me again he had proof but would not provide me the proof. He assured me of credit would be severely damaged if I did not settle, so I gave him my credit card #. My bank had a fraud alert when they attempted to collect money and declined payment. After that I talked to a friend, who is also an attorney. She feels like this is a scam and advised me not to pay. What can I do? I do not want my credit to be destroyed after years of 800+ credit scores. Do not have a recall about this company.Initial Complaint

I purchased Magnetique Biotin Complex (One Month Supply) on 01/01/2018 06:17pm (EDT)I cancelled on Jan 15, 2018 at 10:23 AM I was told it was a free 14 day trial, if you were not happy, you cancel within 14 days and not be charged.I was never charged and thought all was fine.I get a call from them today demanding I pay for their supplement because I never sent back the unopened bottle. HOW in the world can I trail the product THEN send back the UNOPENED Bottle? This seems like a scam to me, in 2018 they were saying "14 day free trial, cancel no questions asked!"Even in my attached cancellation email, they make no mention of sending any products back. They said they were reporting me to credit bureau. I looked it up online and apparently they scamming many other people.Initial Complaint

The company is a scam. They give you a trial sample but then ask you to return the product for your money back. I have Tried to contact this company on multiple occasions. The phone number that is listed on their bottle is the number for ********* It does not take you to their company for support in anyway. The email they have listed for support doesnt work as well as their website has no contact information. They wait for you to pass their very narrow window and then begin to charge you and unreal amount for their product monthly. A product that is sold on Amazon for roughly 25$ and they charge 89$!
