Door looks great but replacement of ************* and weatherstrip on two doors ( just needed one repaired) shouldn't cost $919. Please watch out if you deal with this company.

******, We do appreciate your feedback. I'm sorry you feel the way you do; but confused as to your frustration. You, the customer, showed me the door issues and thought that you may need to replace the doors because of wood ****. After I looked at the door that leads into the bathroom I recommended to remove the remaining part of the door frame stops and replace the sides along with all the seals. When I was there, you could slide your fingers through the door all the way up and down the sides. I did say we can fix this and it would buy you some years instead of replacing the door, which would save a long lead time and a few thousand dollars - you agreed. The other door leading to the garage from outside had wood **** and didn't seal either. I recommended to install new seals and I did have to nail the jambs back together along with the seals to make sure they stayed. Before I left, I informed you of the price of ****** and I would collect the additional service call when I returned. You were happy with that. I then had a complete set of stops made by a trim company and replaced all of the stops and not just the sides to make sure everything was as perfect as possible and looked great... I DO APPRECIATE THE COMMENT OF HOW EVERYTHING WAS DONE GREAT! We are a true door company and a craftsman at what we do. We have a building, trucks, and employees. We are not a handyman company where the work is not to standard and we take the extra steps to do our best with integrity and ethics! I do understand none of your complaint is about our work, just our price.... What you don't see is I had over 5 hours into your job with job check, getting materials, drivetime, and performing the work. Thank you for your honesty of the quality of work. All prices were stated up front and clearly. I was able to save you 3-4 thousand dollars on buying new quality doors. Since you don't live here full time, that eliminated lead times and the inconvenience of getting new doors installed. We are not the cheap guys in town by any means. We do it right and give you choices. We also educate the customer along the way. We do our best to give great service and a great product - which we did here.
