On 04/20/2024, for the first time ever, I went to this newly built car wash in my city, at *********************************************, around 4:05 pm for a quick $10.00 wash. I am not a member. I like to pay for my car washes as I get them. As my car went through the car wash, the front license plate of my car, with its frame, was ripped off, but it's been recovered. However, the front license plate mount on the car is damaged. It holds my license plate, but very weakly due to it having been ripped, and the s**** that held the plate and frame in on one side has a broken s**** behind the mount that had been holding the mount to the car. Also, the rear windshield wiper on back window has been bent and damaged, at that time and date,(04/20/2024) from going through the car wash, and it needs to be repaired also. I reported this incident to a manage there, a young woman, who was very nice, & provided me with a customer claims form, which I completed & provided to her, with the time she wrote on the claim as being at 4:45 PM on 04/20/2024. This manager then provided to me a copy of my claims form that I had filled out, however, all other aspects of the claim form that a company rep should had completed was blank when she provided me the claim form to fill out, &, THOSE AREAS ON THE FORM WAS STILL BLANK WHEN SHE PROVIDED ME A COPY OF THE CLAIM FORM. I did not think anything unusual at the time about it. This manager, informed me a Customer Claims Rep would contact me within 24 hours. Today is 04/24/2024, & no one has telephoned me from your company's *************************** nor have I received any E-Mails from anyone from your company. I have been checking my E-Mails in all folders, Junk, Spam, even old and new, and deleted files,& I have not received any E-Mails from anyone at your company. Please contact me ASAP. I signed up for a membership but found that I dont use it much. I signed up using my husbands car but didnt use it much. I found that it didnt get the bugs on the front of the car off and had to do it by hand to get the best results. Ive tried canceling a few times. This time I put in the last 4 numbers of the card and the system cant find it. Im still waiting to hear back from someone so I can cancel. My next resort is to cancel my bank card and get a new account number-works every time but you have to notify other companies that you do automatic payments with, which is time consuming. The guy who sold the membership to me said that I just need to put in my license plate number to cancel but that was a lie. Bottom line is do your research before signing up for a monthly membership or subscription. This really gives companies who offer and make it easy to cancel a bad name. You should be able to cancel online and get a confirmation of the cancellation as some as you submit the request. This company doesnt do that and Im suspecting that its by design.Super Star Car Wash Response

Went for a car wash on my jeep that gets driven 2-3 times a year and sits in the garage the rest of the time. My credit card was taken, I asked for a $10 wash and got put into a membership. They scammed me for $160 and said that the account was used multiple times (NO WAY). Don't be scammed, no customer service with this company. I know I am not the only one, but rather than solving the problem, they just loose customers....great business plan.Super Star Car Wash Response

I came here to get a light car wash November 2023. I work from home and dont really need it cleaned often. The worker helping me check out asked if I wanted a membership and so I explained, it doesnt make sense for me to pay a monthly fee because I work from home so my car sits in the garage most the time. Today MARCH 22nd 2024 I am reviewing my credit card statements closely. I call my bank and ask to report a charge, I was advised that this has been a reoccurring charge since NOVEMBER 2023. I am livid. This place takes advantage of their customers and steals your money! How does an employee not feel guilty signing a person up for a ***** monthly membership when I purchased the CHEAPEST car wash and explained that I work from home so it doesnt make sense for me to pay that high fee every month. I will NEVER be a returning customer. This place racked up my credit card with roughly $130.00 worth of membership charges that I did not use ONCE nor agreed to. This is stealing. (Crazy thing is the employees probably have to hit a quota and get incentives for signing people up for memberships, so they are desperate and does this type of crime.)Super Star Car Wash Response

I went to the car wash thats close to my house. Ive been there several times. And those big floppy things that you have that go across your car not my little shark piece were the antenna is off and it broke so I cant put it back on there. I mean I can set it on there but as soon as I start driving, its gonna fall right off. It took three times for three different employees to go through and find it in the car wash. I seen it fall on my windshield and looked in my rearview mirrors and seen it on the passenger side. They found it. They stuck me through the wash again then there was soap all over my car. I ordered the one with the graphing if thats even such a thing And the ceramic wash he had to put me through a third time, but my issue is my car has been damaged. Its a ******* its expensive and somebody needs to pay for this to get fixed.Super Star Car Wash Response

I went for one car wash over summer. The person assisting when I arrived asked if I wanted to sign up for a month for $11. I agreed and used the service for one month. When it was due to expire I stopped going. After a few months I noticed I was being fraudulently charged $20.95 each month. I never authorized my card to be run. I went to the Carefree location and spoke to ******* who said he was the manager. He emailed corporate and canceled my membership but did not stop my card from being run the next day like demanded, which caused my account to be overdrawn. Corporate did not contact me for days. I asked for this to be escalated as urgent. I needed my $125.70 refunded right away. I was considering legal action. No one would contact me. After a month of back and forth with ******* and calls from blocked numbers only, I was told on three different occasions I'd get my "refund" but it was as if they expected me to forget about it so they wouldn't have to provide it. I reminded them this was not a refund but FRAUD. I finally got it with no reparations or in kind apology. I had been a customer for over 10 years getting washes, details and services from different locations. ******* was rude and made no effort to contact me unless I threatened legal action. Had I been offered a formal apology with either services or reparations I would still be a customer today. I emailed ******* recently asking for a follow up and she ignores me. This is an awful company that has no problem committing fraud and ignoring customers. I will look into my legal rights.
