Cardinal Heating & Cooling ******* ** I purchased two AC units from them in June, 2020. I have a 3 year warranty with them so as of now 9/12/22 it is still under warranty. I called them up to have my downstairs unit looked at because it is not blowing out the vents. They came out to look at it and told me it was the blower motor and they have to order it. 8/29/22 I tried following up with them a day before repair was supposed to be done and no answer. Text them no answer. Waited till the next Monday no answer call or text. I emailed them no response. Going on two weeks now with no response. Tried calling from a different number and they have an automated response. "Please text me I'm on a phone call right now." So they are purposely ignoring my phone calls and text now. Come to find out a lot of others have delt with this same issue. All there reviews on Yelp and ****** resemble the same thing I'm going through. Not answering calls or text when it comes to warranty claims.Initial Complaint

We had a new AC installed 8/6/22. Our AC began to blow warm air on 8/29/22, Ive called several times and have sent text messages thru my phone and on offer up, which is where I found the company. No response. Once on 9/1/22 and tech was suppose to come out but no one did. I paid another person to fix and the unit was short on freon but that only helped for one night and back to warm air. The unit should have a 10 year warranty but I cannot get someone out to help.Initial Complaint

Cardinal installed new ** system for my rental property early this year before summer started. The ** has been reported by tenant with multiple issues and it is almost impossible to get Cardinal team to look into the issues with many calls. The drain line for ** for improperly installed and clogged which caused big water damage in dry wall, ceiling and wood floor in the house, I need to do restoration work a company and hired another ** company to fix the drain issue who told me that the ** was installed so bad that they need to redo all the installation work. I have called Cardinal for many times and left messages for the issue but they never response for a new ** installed just a few months ago. I don't trust the workmanship from Cardinal and have to ask another company to redo the installation which costs about $3500 plus all the restoration work up to $30K. I want to have Cardinal responsible for the installation cost and restoration damage cost. ThanksInitial Complaint

Cardinal came out to my house in late December of 2021. My unit, which they installed a few years prior, was not working. The technician from Cardinal said there was a refrigerant leak, but couldn't find it and so he topped off my unit with refrigerant (they call it Freon). He said the fix should last for at least 3 years, but if it ran out before then, that they would come back out and refill the unit. I was uneasy with this resolution, as the leak was not fixed, but I paid the bill since they gave me a warranty for 3 years. Last week, my unit quit running again. I contacted Cardinal on the day it went out to get it serviced, but did not get a call back or response to my text until a couple days later. That is unacceptable given the fact that we live in Phoenix and it is summer time. Either way, the owner said they did not warranty ***** and when I showed him the invoice with the guarantee, I got no response back.I am seeking to be reimbursed for the amount of money - $572 - that it cost me to get Freon/Refrigerant from another company. I will attach all supporting docs.Initial Complaint

Cardinal Heating and Cooling installed a new ** unit 2.5 years ago on 9/21/19 I called them on June 29 twice and got text messages that they will call back soon. On July 1st they still had not called back so I called another company to look at it. They were not able to fix it. They said the compressor was bad. Cardinal shearing Finally said they would send a tech out between 3-7 on the first. We waited all evening until about 8:30 pm. No one came until the 7/2. Tech came out said compressor was bad. Then I was told I voided the warranty because someone else touched the unit and tried to work on it. I told him there weee two babies and small children in the house and he didnt call back. He said *** says he has 48 hours. Cardinal Heating told us the compressor was ordered from Trane and would be in on the 18th. We told them there weee 2 babies in the house. He told us to buy portable ** units at the **** shops. I purchased portable ** units. I also provided hotels for the tenants. They sent another Master Tech out On July 7 he sent two people out to look at the unit again. To try and fix it to change out the compressor. They did not and told us the compressor would be in on the 18th. He said he would look around to find another compressor. They did not find one. Told me I could find a replacement compressor for $1000. I asked why, when its under warranty? I had the ** company that originally came out call Trane and they said its under warranty. On 7/18 Cardinal Heating came out and replaced the whole condenser unit and wants to charge me $3500. They said thats what I would pay for a new compressor and 10 lbs of 410A Freon. They wrote up the invoice as if they had relaxed the compressor only. I said this was not right. Cardinal told me to call around to other ** companies see how much it costs to replace a compressor. I called other companies and they all said if its under warranty. Never told about new cobdensor unit being installed
