Appointment AAA Auto Repair Center, November 15, 2023, 1pm. Diagnostics Testing, cost $169., for "Check Engine Light ON"....despite car driving perfectly *************** found Code P0011, day before. *** said it could be a multitude of reasons or nothing but a bad sensor! After Diagnostics and multi-point inspection performed, AAA Repair ************ Solenoids need replaced and oil change required to do it; Cost $564.91, $169 diagnostic to be applied! I agreed! Left car overnight for repair, picked up November 16th, late afternoon and drove directly home. Next morning, started car and "Power Surge occurred"( all the lights came on, loud noise, then driver side window wouldn't go down)....then car hesitated to start! Took car back to AAA Auto Repair. Before examining car, manager ******************* (screaming in my face) immediately refused responsibility for problem before inspecting it!! After 20 min, ***** and tech looking under ****, he said diagnostics showed 3 codes for bad battery, less than 20%! Battery was not diagnosed as BAD, during $169. testing...only after new Solenoids caused Power Surge.....the fault of AAA Repair!! ******* resolution- to SELL me NEW BATTERY! I declined! It was their fault!! Clearly, my battery was not diagnosed as bad November 15 & 16th!! Drove home immediately, car left in my garage while I made multiple attempts to contact AAA customer service! Ultimately, November 19th, car dead! Got jump start, drove to Auto Zone and bought new battery $244.34, and realized upon opening hood, AAA broke off Windshield Fluid Reservoir Cap! November 27, replaced cap $11.94. November 14, I added windshield fluid at Auto ***** ***** intact, not broken!! Also, engine fumes permeate inside car since leaving AAA Repair!! I want reimbursement for ************** and I want fumes gone! After recently reviewing AAA repair paperwork, tech statement leads me to believe, AAA Auto Repair SOLD ME UNNECESSARY WORK!? CAR STARTED AND DROVE FINE, w engine light ON!
