I dropped my vehicle off on June 17th for an inspection on a transmission leak and power steering pump. New Dimensions called smart start interlock 3 times for a bypass code when I had told them originally they wouldn't be able to bypass my interlock they would need to blow into it. Next day my vehicle won't run and new dimensions had pulled apart my dash to mess with interlock system which is a felony for tampering with the system. I had to get a two rental vehicles because they screwed with me electronics. I dropped off receipts for rental vehicles and gas for them to reimburse me for since the vehicle interlock worked perfectly fine when I dropped it off and after leaving it in there care had to be towed to interlock next day. The owner doesn't seem to know much about cars if he's s checking under my vehicle dash for a transmission leak. I'm getting the run around from both smart start and new dimensions please help.

To Whom It ************************** law prohibits individuals from asking others to blow into their device.  We do NOT blow into devices: it's illegal, unsanitary and unreasonable to request our techs to do this.

The interlock company has recorded phone calls giving our facility exact instructions to disable the interlock system for maintenance purposes.  When the instructions failed, the interlock company realized the instructions they provided were specific to ******* interlock devices, and this particular device was installed in Washington.  This is when the interlock company advised the vehicle must be taken to the breathalyzer company for service.   We did not perform any services, nor did this customer pay for anything at our shop. We did nothing illegal, and the recorded conversations are available to back that up.

It is not our shop's responsibility to pay towing expenses, rental car and gas expenses (especially for someone with a restricted license prohibited from renting a vehicle), or any other expenses.

      Regards,

New Dimensions is at fault I wouldn't expect them to take responsibility for their mistakes. Again they were tampering with ************* and they already admitted to this in response. I am currently working in WSP to obtain recordings and will have to pursue legal action. This shop was supposed to be a better deal then going to the dealership for work. New Dimensions (Zach - front desk manager ) was informed that they would need to blow into vehicle and that there was an un opened mouth piece to be used. He said yeah we can take care of that. I already dropped off my receipts to New Dimensions and the owner acted like he was doing me a favor for not charging me to put my car back together after he had pulled the dash apart looking at ************* wiring.

First and foremost, you paid our shop nothing.  To try and use the BBB as a way to get over 2K from a shop that charged you nothing, is ridiculous.

Visit https://www.newdimensionsauto.com/guarantee to read our published terms and conditions and warranty info.  We do not pay for incidental or consequential damages.

We do not blow into breathalyzers and it's illegal for you to ask someone to do so.  What you requested of our service advisor is simply that, a request.  It was made clear to you by the one and only manager at the shop, the owner,  that we would have to get permission to disable the breathalyzer. You provided the phone number to do so.

Furthermore, you have a restricted license and rented a car illegally.  We will be no part of that.  Your vehicle smells like a dispensary.
