      The initial call was made to Absolute Steel in early June 2021 and I spoke to "Gui". I was quoted a price and I asked very specifically if the price included architectural, stamped plans and I was told yes. When asked for an estimated time of completion I was told 2-3 months after the order was placed. The order was placed 7-10-22. I emailed Gui a month after the order was placed and asked for the stamped drawings so I could apply for the permits and he stated that "I do not have you quoted for engineered plans.....it would add an additional $550...". I cited our initial conversation about the cost being included and he said he would "get them going for you". It took 5 attempts to get the drawing to match mine. On 10-7-21 when I asked when I will have my order he stated that they "are just getting to June orders". By the time I received my plans and permits where granted it was 11-29-21, four and a half months after the order was placed. On 1-6-22 I inquired about the completion date again and he stated "3 weeks until completion", this happened multiple times over 3 months. When I received the final bill from Gui, he tried to add the cost of engineered plans (that were supposed to be free) and charge me double for an additional piece of panel that I ordered. I got my roof in march 2022. It was missing screws, built the wrong size and the structural welds where cracking/lifting. They had to send people out to my house to trim purlins, bring a missing roof panel, they sent an employee out to install the missing screws and they did not send him with a ladder to work on a 15 foot tall roof after I explained that my ladder was unsafe. Another employee (*****) came on Sunday with a scissor lift and installed the remaining screws. After finding the cracked welds, I emailed *****, ******** and Gui on 4-19-22, I have not received a response as of 4-27-22. I can not finish this due to the length of the writeup but look at the attached documents, please.

      ****************** was sold a DIY kit.  We went above and beyond trying to help the customer.  The purlin lengths we sent matched the drawings that he approved (he even said we did 5 revisions)but in good faith, we sent someone to cut them to length.  Our general manager also installed the additional brackets and screws in good faith.

      It was observed that the plates that were welded to the columns had been modified at the jobsite by independent installers that ****************** hired and were not as they were when the canopy kit was delivered.  The flat plates had been hammered to fit a rounded surface.  Upon review of ********************** pictures our senior welder found the welds to be structurally satisfactory. Even after the plates had been altered on the jobsite.

      ****************** seemed at the time to be very pleased with the structure when our genneral manager left his property.

      At this point, I dont wish to waste anymore of my time pursuing compensation from Absolute Steel. Five revisions had to be completed because *** was not capable of following the scale drawings that were sent to him. It is a fact that I accepted the final revision, even though the height of the building was still wrong. I agree, I did not notice that *** **** the 40 foot shipping containers on the plans to the wrong length. That is why your shop ******* was sent to my house to trim the purlins, because your sales associate **** the plans wrong. I do appreciate your shop ******* coming out and correcting the mistake. Like it was explained via email and voicemail, you supplied the incorrect amount of screws with the kit, roughly 350 screws to few and my installation crew was only there for two days, Saturday and Sunday. In order to get the building erected, the brackets had to be welded. I was also shorted Brackets and my crew had to fabricate their own, again, to erect the building in the amount of time that I had them on site. Again, if you look back in your notes, you will see that you also shorted me a 20 foot roof panel because Gui did not put it on the final PO (per your driver) and you had to send your driver out to my house to deliver that. Your sales associate quoted me three to four months, in reality it took approximately nine months to deliver my purchase. *****, I really wish I wouldve recorded the conversations I had with you and your shop ******* about Gui, in one of our talks you stated I have to work with what I have In regards to me commenting about his lack of skill and customer service/professionalism. Your delivery driver had absolutely nothing respectful to say about *** and his salesmanship/professional attributes.

      At this point there is nothing else that can be done with this customer. He bought a custom structure, modified on his own and is not happy with the result. There is nothing more our business can do

      Purchased April 2021 Have yet to receive all the materials.They will file a lien on my property as I still owe $1198.00 and have told them as soon as I receive the material, I will pay them. Also asked for a billing adjustment of $500.00. They have not provided an invoice as of yet for the final payment. But call me for payment instead.

      Better Business Bureau:

       Yes they have removed the lien. But did not offer any other resolution to my issue of having to wait 4 months to get my product. Plus I still need to replace the existing panels on my building with the new ones they finally provided. So at this point I am done with this company and will never recommend them to anyone!

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.
