I would give zero stars if possible. We hired ******* to install a laundry room cabinet, folding table and hanging rack. He requested a $500 deposit up front for supplies which we gave him. He started the job by installing the support frame for the cabinet. We then noticed the next day we had a puddle of water in our garage (this was adjacent to the interior laundry room). ******* came out and it was determined that the support frame needed to be removed as a bulging in the wall was noticed and turned out to be a water bubble forming under the paint as ******* had put a s**** through our water line. ******* assured us that he would take care of this and offered up his contractors insurance policy and company name so that we could file a claim. It turns out his insurance was unpaid and not valid. He has refused to take care of this issue which resulted in an insurance claim for us totaling $23k plus a deductible we had to pay in the amount of $3,500.00. We are now paying higher homeowner premiums due to his negligence. We are also out the initial $500 given to him for supplies. When we had him pull the framing out we suggested he leave to supplies in our garage but he insisted they would be safe in his workshop. Please do your homework before hiring *******.Review from Laura S.

We hired the owner ******* of Wood and Iron by Wilder LLC to build a simple shiplap media wall. At the time he seemed legit and a nice guy. We agreed on a price and a start date of 03/28/23. A 30% down-payment for materials was provided. We were told the media wall would take one week to complete, we decided to add two side cabinets to the wall unit which pushed the project out an additional week. We received a call from the owner letting us know he could start the project sooner and he began on 3/22/2023. The project started off well during framing, he was on time and in communication. As the project slowly moved on the communications began to diminish, he was a constant no show, continual personal problems, he and his girlfriend would show up to our job bringing their newly born son which seemed odd, the quality of work became sloppy, the material for the shiplap was poor quality *** board in lieu of actual shiplap, trim boards were cut short and will need to be replaced, the nail holes were poorly filled causing the *** to swell, and the paint on the shiplap was so poor my wife repainted them. The cabinets were specifically asked to be made from 3/4" plywood with Alderwood accents. When the cabinets finally showed up 3 weeks later due to additional excuses and more personal problems, the cabinets were made of *** board that were poorly painted and not finished!?!. The owner claimed they were finished and ready for install when he dropped them off NOT EVEN CLOSE!! Due to the continued poor workmanship, lack of communication and constant scheduling issues on 04/21/2022 we fired Wood and Iron by Wilder LLC . I highly recommend you DO NOT use this company, you will regret it.Review from Darren B

I never really make reviews or complain but I dont want this to happen to someone else. We been working with ******* since 12/2022 he mention that he had a special going on for barn doors and would honor the price for 6 months. In January we decided to have him start to the barn door for our play room. We had a set date on when it was going to get install and I got no answer back or no show multiple days. There was always an excuse on why he didnt come. I let it fly by since things happened. He made the door to the exact measurement we sent him but wouldnt you think you would extend the width a little bit so it would cover completely. The door was not even sanded there were nail holes everywhere the white wash Was the finish some boards some didnt even have white wash the edge still had ********** green print on the wood. the wood had huge gaps ( I have pictures to show it) I was devastated he said he would remake our door since he didnt have the money to return to us. So I gave him another chance I just wanted a TLC on the door, With again multiple excuses and days he was suppose to come he didnt show up. His girlfriend finally delivered the door and the nails werent even holding the door its completely coming apart huge wood gaps wood is bode out. look like it was just made in 1 hour. Im completely devastated. His answer was to us is that well for what you paid for that door is the quality of the door your going to get. Im sorry you dont run a business like that. I know a friend that he did a door for and it looks like a complete different person that did hers I dont understand. I highly highly dont recommend him at all to do any work. He is not reliable his quality of work on the door is horrible. And he wont stand up on how to run a business the right way to fix it. Maybe third one is a charmReview from Leah S

We hired ******* to do a feature wall in our living room. The wall turned out great, but only because my husband had to watch his every move. The communication with ******* was horrible. He had some life situations going on at the time he was doing our wall, which we were understanding about. Once he started the wall, he said he would be by around noon and then wouldnt show up until hours later , like 4-5pm. There were nights where him and my husband were working on the wall past midnight. Once the wall was finished, my husband had to sand all the holes down and fix the side door on his own. Its obvious that ******* needs help and shouldnt be running his business on his own. I was going to let this go because I know ******* from school and because our wall actually looks good, but there is a whole other situation going on with my parents. I begged my parents to not work with him just because of the communication issues and my husband having to stay on top of him and making sure things were done accurately. My parents decided to move forward with him and it was a fiasco. They did a feature stone wall in their living room and he ruined all the stone with mortar and cost my parents a lot of money having to hire new people to fix it and get it completed the right way. He didnt offer to pay for the demo or anything. Just not good business and want people to know what they are getting into beforehand.Review from Darnelle T.

******* did an amazing job from start to finish on replacing my RV gate. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the whole process. I wanted to add some decorative pieces to the gate and he made my dream gate come to life! He offered powder coat as a standard and explained how it last a lot longer in this AZ sun, and also decided to go with composite slats. The gate looks amazing! ******* was very respectful, kind and provided among customer service! He was very reasonably priced and very upfront and honest through the whole process! I would highly recommend calling Wood and Iron by Wilder LLC for any of your welding needs!
