I brought my daughter *********************** in to Gilbert Modern Dentistry for her 6 month teeth cleaning and ************ found a cavity on her molar. We then scheduled her filling which *********** performed. 6 months later we went in for her cleaning again which **************** found that the tooth with the filling had decay deep under the filling due to *********** not filling the cavity deep enough the first time. He then said because there was so much decay that he would need to crown the tooth. He gave me a discount of ****** but I still needed to pay appx ****** foe rhe crown. Which I was hesitant but I had to due to my daughter's tooth hurting. Since the crown she had been feeling pain. On another note the molar behind the crowned tooth had a partial root canal by ************* the endodontist in that same office. We had been waiting for the root to seal because she us so young it wasn't fully formed and had to wait for the full root canal. So we saw him fir that which he said she now is ready for a full root canal. He no longer works in that office and couldn't schedule an appt with him there. They said they would find an outside endodontist and that there would be a ****** holding fee for the appt. I called ***** Endodontist right away and got her in to check her back molar and the crowned molar due to her pain. They said the molar with the partial root canal was not ready for a full root canal because the root is not fully closed and that the tooth with the crown needs a root canal because the root is now dying. I called Gilbert Moden and asked them to refund me for the crown and to pay for the root canal due to ******************* mistake, they said they will not do that. I'm looking for reimbursement for the root canal, and the payment I made for the crown and service. I have an appointment for my daughter Nov 15th for a root canal at Asari Endodontist.
