I initially saw **************** at the beginning of this year. She is a veterinarian who provides mobile services which I need since I am disabled.When I first called to schedule an appointment, I was given an estimate of $179. They ended up charging almost $400. I did not contest the charges. Ghost takes medication and **************** did prescribe his medication and agreed to write for a years worth of meds I discovered later that she had only written for 6 months, but since she had agreed to write for a year's worth, I thought I only needed to call for refills. She had also changed one of his medications to a much more expensive one for no apparent reason.Instead of refills, they said I had to schedule another home visit and labs, ie pay them another $400 if I wanted refills.I am asking *************** to honor her agreement, provide refills sufficient for a year and put him back on the more affordable itraconazole without extorting the cost of another visit/labs.Business response

This customer was given an estimate of $179 PLUS lab work. She approved the total with lab work at the visit. She was never guaranteed a year's worth of medication. It is common sense that we would not decide which medication, dose or duration UNTIL we got the lab results back. She was required to recheck blood work in 6 months so we could adjust the medication based on the lab results. Not only did she refuse to do so, she was extremely rude with my assistant and hung up on her. Then she sent a rude email filled with untrue accusations. Therefore, for good reason, we ended our relationship with this customer. We offered to send her records to another veterinarian of her choice, and will do so when she finds a new one. As mentioned, our relationship with this client is terminated permanently, and no further services will be provided.Customer response

She is lying. **************** did agree to prescribe a year of the medication. She did not say I had to agree to another appointment and labs in order for her to refill the prescriptions. But has also made her commitment to unethical business practices clear. I am not surprised that my email attempting to hold her accountable she considered "rude."
I have no further expectations of this individual or her business and will be happy to share my experience to prevent others from being scammed by her.
