Absolutely horrible company to work with.We purchased laminate flooring from **** ***** and they subcontracted the installation out to this company. Not only did they do shoddy work and refuse to fix the multiple issues that were left, but they ruined 11 stairs in my home as well. They have refused fix the stairs stating that, its within code, and we have completed our obligation. I was told this by the regional manager after being told a month previously by the installation manager/area manager that the company had just had a 3 day multiple state conference in regarding to the same issue with stairs that we were having. They had had 3 other issues with local jobs the exact same as I had.During the installation, the crew was a day and a half behind schedule. The installer spoke very broken English (not his first language) and we had difficulty communicating. He was also told on day 3 of the job that he absolutely could not take depth away from the stair treads Not only did the installer blatantly ignore me telling him that, he didnt even finish them correctly according to what Western States had told him to do. And still I was told it wasnt their problem.We have spent the last 4 months dealing with ********** and this company, and still do not have resolution. Western states offered to come remove the unapproved product they placed on our stairs free of charge, but theres no way on earth Im letting anyone from this company in my house ever again. I wish I could include pictures of the sub par work that was left in my home.

The western states flooring did a very bad job of installing my Vinyl flooring and the inspector that came to see the damage blamed it on my wife’s wheelchair. Initially the inspector came to the house and seen the damage and acknowledged that it was poor workmanship and ordered a box of vinyl flooring to replace the damaged area, several weeks went by and more vinyl planks broke loose and he came out again and said that it was a moister issue and he would take care of it. He then reported to **** ***** who provided the product that the problem was caused by my wife’s wheelchair, this was a ridiculous accusation as my wife only weighs 126 lbs. and while he was at my house doing the inspection he never said anything about my wife’s wheelchair having anything to do with the damaged floor. I called **** ***** and was informed that the inspector told them it was because of my wife’s wheelchair and that I would have to re-order the whole flooring and pay for it myself. I tried emailing Mike V****** who is the Customer Care Manager and the inspector who came to my house but the e mail address on his business card is inactive.I expected Western States Flooring to stand by their work and have gotten no help what so ever.

Today ****** and his son ****** did an awesome job of installing carpet on the stairs. They were on time, professional and expedient. We are very pleased with the quality of their work and will be happy to use Western States Flooring Inc for any future flooring projects!

One star is way too good for this sorry company. I scheduled a month out for this sorry establishment to install my carpet because they said that was their first available. They left me a voice mail late in the afternoon the day before they were supposed to install my carpet. The simple message was sorry we can't make it tomorrow. No explanation, no option to schedule, no message to call them to reschedule. I had to run them down and it wasn't easy to get a hold of them. Their excuse was that the job they had previously was too long and ran over. No remorse, just a matter of fact statement from Eric T********, the director. I had already moved the mechanical bed with the help of hired hands because they "don't do that", everything was moved out of both bedrooms and is in my living room! i.e. king size bed....however they just couldn't "make it" on the day they said they would be there, even though I had scheduled over a month ago and taken a day of vacation to accomodate their schedule. It was too late for me to reestablish my appointments for the next day so it was basically a wasted vacation day for me AND I had to take another day off to accomodate their next promise date. I will be totally disgusted everytime I look at my new carpet and think about what a JOKE and sorry sorry company this is. Steer clear, steer clear do yourself a favor. I can't stand their service and especially their attitude!!!
