BC 3.5LB SW 2021 model. Owner since 2022 as my first commercial manual control roaster. Overall an excellent product with a knowledgeable service staff. Ive roasted on this machine for light commercial use and tried dozens of varieties of high grade coffees. Results are very good, and the machine is excellent for starting out. Its forgiving enough while giving you the features and function to produce some wonderful coffee results. My only encouragement is dont be afraid, dive in and really learn the craft. All the fancy do it for you machines cut corners, and learning to do it right is satisfying beyond words. It takes time and youll make mistakes but I feel so confident now with my roaster that I could produce just about any result I want. I am glad I came across buckeye (or Bucky, as my roaster is lovingly named). Right product for the right price, I couldnt ask for more!

I have been roasting for about 10 years, but the first 8 were for personal use with a very small machine. I stared looking for a larger roaster and considered starting an actual business. I looked at several companies and found Randy at Buckeye. The prices were right for what I was looking for and an opportunity came up that I was in Phoenix. I contacted Randy and asked if I could come look at the roaster before buying. Not only did he give me the tour, but we got to roast a couple batches of coffee. As soon as I returned home I ordered my roster. Its been two years now and it been great. Solid machine, great performance and with the included electronics and USB port you can easily setup Artisan and roast to profiles. I'm happy to say that Buckeye's roasters are easy to use and controlling your rate of rise using Gas and Airflow is simple. Consistent roasts every time, and customers love the coffee. My business has been growing month over month. The roasters are easy to maintain with simple grease maintenance and cleaning. Buckeye also has a great support staff that responds quickly to every request. I needed a small part recently and could not find one locally. My machine is out of warranty, but Buckeye actually went above and beyond and sent me the part under warranty. I can't say enough about Buckeye, they are always there if you need them and make quality equipment and stand by it. I cannot recommend Buckeye enough and my next (larger) roaster will be from Buckeye as well.
