My husband outright bought a ford truck august of 2022. Between the trade in and cash it was fully paid for. As of this date march 21, I’ve hav not received the title. Most calls go unreturned. When someone does call back it’s a big run around.Review from Jherjames B.

Dealership lack the transparency for a customer to make informed decisions. Misinform on lower trim models and treat as the ‘premium/limited’ model. Will markup and add dealer options (~$12K+). If pre-approved from another bank, finance will force you to use their (higher interest rate) financing and indicate that you must make 3 payments before refinancing. Finance will make the ultimate delay for you to know your car loan account to make payments (or refinance/payoff) AND delay providing you the necessary paperwork to pay tax / register your car. Look up Yo-Yo sale which is illegal in Arkansas. Imagine if the Dealer’s bank did not approve your loan (or the bank disbursing the funds) after driving off the lot, aren’t you forced to return the car? How about getting your car repossessed since you do not know where / who / what bank to pay? Lastly, how can you enjoy a car that you haven’t paid taxes (and will accrue interest/penalties) if you cannot register the car under YOUR name? Are you willing to spend $, time, and energy dealing with McLarty? This experience prompted me and my family to NOT purchase Toyota in the near future. I’d rather do a direct-to-consumer transaction with Tesla! Thank you for the life experience McLarty!Review from David S

Horrible service. Traded my perfectly working BMW to Mclarty on November 14, 2022, the same night the engine light came on and rain was leaking in the car. Took the vehicle back the next morning and was told there is no "cooling off" period to return the vehicle. McLarty Toyota is the worse experience I have ever had with a car dealership and I would suggest that no one bothers to buy a car from here.Review from Nia J

**** **** saw that my car was purchased at another dealership AND saw that I had a warranty but did not say anything about taking the car back to the original dealership in order for the extended warranty to be honored. Inexperienced, very dishonest, not informative! She did no research when told about the warranty and ASSumed we were purchasing looking to purchase a warranty on a 2019 that already had a warranty!! Did not even honor coupons that came from their dealership. Unethical at its best!Review from Erin N

On March 3, 2021 I contacted Mark McLarty Toyota dealership about a 2021 Toyota Sienna Platinum in Blueprint that they had on their lot. I was contacted by ****** Love on March 4, 2021 and was told the internet price of $49,847 did not reflect the $1,100 in extras such as window tint, door edge guards, nitrogen filled tires and Pulse, nor had the $129 S&H fee. After some time a price of $50,298 was offered for this vehicle by ******.
On March 12, 2021, I spoke with **** at MMT and agreed to purchase this vehicle for $49,998. A deposit of $500 was made the same day. I requested the windows be tinted darker along with the windshield (I have a special permit from the Oklahoma DMV for this). I was told this was not a problem and would be done at no additional cost. Instead, after making a near 5 hour drive to North Little Rock, Arkansas this was not done. There was no offer to make this right.
After driving my new Sienna home to Oklahoma, I parked, unloaded and locked the vehicle in my garage. It started perfectly the next day and I was able to run errands without a hiccup. Upon returning, the vehicle was parked in my driveway and when I went to pull it into the garage later that evening it would not start. This is when I discovered the cargo net I had paid for within the purchase price of my vehicle was not included. I notified my salesman, ***** immediately of all the things from the dead car to missing cargo net. He told me he would take my issues to his manager and let me know.
I frantically called my local Toyota dealership freaking out as I had a less than 12 hour old vehicle that wasn't starting and showed no signs of life. My local dealership gave some great pointers, set up an appointment to have my car towed the following Monday, and had Toyota Roadside jump my vehicle so it could be moved to a safer location inside my garage. The vehicle was jumped and immediately threw error codes and a "Hybrid Battery Malfunction" error message which stated the vehicle could not be drive and needed to be towed to a dealership immediately.
The following Monday, the vehicle was towed and diagnostics showed that the 12v battery that was sold with the car only contained 6v of charge. My local dealership asked if this was a showroom vehicle, which it was. My local dealership told me that MMT did not start nor check the battery for correct voltage prior to selling this vehicle or putting me in it on the road for 5 hours potentially leaving me stranded along my route. I was also told that they hybrid system can kill the 12 battery and that MMT did not care for this vehicle properly.
On 4/2 I had my windshield and sensors replace due to multiple other features not working properly. On 4/24, after reviewing text messages from ****** Love and consulting with my local dealership it has been discovered that the $1,100 extras that were supposed to come with this vehicle, did not. On 4/26, after giving Hong 40 days to mail my missing cargo net, I texting him wanting to know where it was as well as noting that several of the "extras" were missing from my vehicle. My car did not have the door edge guards, nitrogen tires or cargo net that ****** Love told me came with the vehicle.
**** told me I got a "great deal", he appreciated my business and ended the conversation.
Throughout this entire fiasco with MMT, I had been talking with the Arkansas Attorney General, who suggested I contacted MMT GM. I've since contacted Mr. *****, the GM of MMT on 4/24 and ***** ******** on various dates from 4/29-5/3 and have not received a single phone call, email or text from either of them.
I've given this dealership ample time to correct their mistakes before filing my complaints.
