Your Probate department has taken two years since my mother died to transfer the car to my father. My mother had a Will (listing my Dad as getting the car) and we are getting the run-around from Toyota (FOR TWO YEARS). DO NOT BUY A TOYOTA (if you die, your spouse-even if there is a Will-will have a hard time dealing with their poor customer service). They are terrible.Review from Haven K

DO NOT GO TO LANDERS TOYOTA. They use manipulation, intimidation and bald faced lies to make sure their best interest is met. I have been accused of lying and threatened when I questioned the logic of what they were claiming. The day after I picked my truck up from their service department, I had to have it towed back to them because the wheel they had worked on had locked up. I never asked for anything unreasonable or was anything but patient and amicable, and I was called a liar. The service manager was incredibly sexist, condescending and allowed his pride to control how this issue was handled. He used intimidation to manipulate the situation to try and make me pay for repairs for the damage they had done to my vehicle, claiming the damage was already there before I ever brought my truck to them. If I had not had the support from my coworkers, who are professional mechanics, I would have given in and paid for the repairs because dealing with him was incredibly upsetting and stressful. They will lie through their teeth and threaten you when you question them. This was BY FAR the worst experience I’ve ever had with a shop. They unapologetically and aggressively take advantage of people and make money doing it. By the end of it, they did unapproved repairs on my truck, stating they would cover the cost of the labor and parts, and when I asked about reimbursement on the tow, they refused to admit fault. When I pressed, the service manager said, "So do you want me to take your truck back apart and undo the repairs or do you want to pay for them?" When I asked if he was threatening me, he stated, "I'm dead serious." By the time I picked up my truck, I had been told four different things about what caused my wheel to lock up. I refuse to believe I was ever told the truth of what happened to my truck. They called and said they would only pay for my tow if I removed my negative reviews, proving they are a shady and manipulative business.Review from Hallie D

Called Monday to set up a maintenance appointment for my vehicle, they told me the following Friday they had no appointments, that I could get in and out at my scheduled time, 9AM. It is currently 10:40 and THEY HAVE NOT EVEN STARTED ON IT. I would understand if I did not have an appointment, but I had an appointment. This 15 min maintenance, is now a two hour wait. That is how they have all been, with an appointment.Landers Toyota Response

What an unprofessional business. I was trying to sell my car they lured me in by offering me around 10,200 online. When I got there they barely looked at it and said 7000 was already approved. After a bunch of back n forth they had me waiting for over an hour for a counteroffer just to tell me no. What a waste of time. I’ll go out of state before I would ever buy a car or anything from them.Review from Tina C

searched around before finding Landers Toyota. They had the best deal on the Tacoma that I wanted. I drove almost 3 hours to buy the truck. When I got there and l found the salesman that I had been talking to on the phone. (Don't remember his name). He showed me the truck and when I saw that it had a small dent as well as some long scratches. I asked him about it and why didn't he tell me before I drove that far. He basically said that he hadn't even looked at the truck and it was the first time he saw the truck. I was honestly about to turn away and go home, but I liked the truck and the dent wasn't that bad and I figured I could buff out the scratches, so I proceeded with purchasing the truck. I did look at the pictures online, but there was no way to tell that it had a dent in it. Once all the paperwork was done. I had to wait on the finance manager to speak with me and needless to say the encounter with him wasn't the best either. He kept trying to pressure me into getting an extended warranty. At one point and time I actually asked him if he thought the truck was going to break down when I drove it off the lot. Seriously, do you not believe in the product you are selling? I did not like that. I had a honda civic that I just recently sold and I had it for 9 years and never needed an extended warranty. I had the truck for about a week then the maintenance light came on. I called the salesman and he asked if the gas lid was tight and he stated he would call me back, but he never did. I did as he asked and called him back and told him it was still on and he stated to take it to a dealership, at which time I said no I am not going to do that because I would have to pay for a diagnostic. Again, he stated he would call me back, which he never did. I did my own research and found that it could need the oil changed, but it had been, but I also checked the oil in the truck and just had the maintenance light reset. It's good now.
