I'm submitting this for not just myself but other residents as well. I've had issues with my water bill for around 6 months now being very high, and at least three other residents i've talked to have issues as well. One neighbor said they contacted the city and they tested and said the water issue is with the apartment complex. This particular neighbor has had a water bill of hundreds of dollars per month and submitted many maintenance requests that were ignored. I believe the water system of the apartment complex as a whole has a problem and it is not being resolved. My experience with the water issue is that as long as the water lines are open the pressure relief valves at any point in the system drain continuously as if there is too much pressure in the system and there is constant backflow. This is consistent with other people i've talked to. Any maintenance personnel i've seen are all very young and noticeably inexperienced as if they're just college kids that live here and were given the job. Neighbors i've talked to have also said there is currently no management of the apartment complex and it is very difficult to talk to anyone that can help or knows anything. My goal in this request is to have the owner of the apartment complex investigated to resolve management structure as there seems to be none and resolve maintenance problems, specifically water at a minimum, with the complex as a whole.Business response

A work order was created by resident on 7/30/2023. the issue was fixed on 7/31/2023. Resident did not come to us with a high water bill, no other residents have come to us with a high water bill. Our maintenance staff is trained, if it is something they can not fix they will call a plumber, electrician, HVAC specialist etc.
Office staff are not hard to reach, this resident has never called aside from the one time for his water heater. We also have a 24 hour line they could have reached.
