I stayed at the Quality Inn in Trussville, Alabama on 7/20/2021 on my way home to New Orleans, LA from Washington, DC. I arrived at the hotel and checked in and was given a handicapped assessable room. Upon going into my room I noticed that it was FILTHY and smelled of urine. I alerted the front desk and they made a comment about how sometimes handicapped people have accidents. They then switched me to another room to that was equally as bad. The second room was labeled as non-smoking but smelled like an ashtray, the comforter and upholstery on the chair were stained and had cigarette burn holes, the pillows were dirty, the dust ruffle had some white substance on it, the lamp shades were stained, the headboard had some white stuff on it, and the shower curtain was dirty. Had I not just driven 11 hours I would have stayed someplace else. It was late so I called the main complaint line for the hotel and made a formal complaint. Photos were included. I would like a refund.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/03) */ Guest checked the room and decided to stay. There was nothing wrong with the room. Front Desk walked her through the room, and asked her if she liked the room, she said YES. Guest satisfaction is our top priority, and in this case there was no complaints made to the front desk.
