In order to replace the floor everything needed to be boxed up and moved out. We wanted to do the packing ourselves for several reasons. We requested an estimate without the packing costs. North Alabama Restoration refused to provide an estimate without them charging us for the packing. However, they said they would compensate us for our work. The estimate they provided, with few exceptions, broke out what they were charging us to do the packing work. Note: we did the packing work, not them.When the work on the floor was completed the craftsmen had done excellent work. However, the compensation NAR provided was less than half of what was listed in the estimate! I complained but was told if I did not pay up that day, they would put a lean on my house. When I said I would write a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, they threatened to *** us. We felt bullied into accepting their terms.

This is the second home restoration company we have dealt with. They are OUTSTANDING!!! This company is just superlative. I'm retired military with 29 years in uniform. I have experience running major projects and found that this company is extremely organized and effective. First, the estimates were extremely detailed. I am very impressed with the objective times, materials, and other resources contained in the estimates. *********** used this list to complete all tasks. to standards. ON TIME: *********** showed-up on time! This month-long process required a variety of different crews to show-up. We always got an email heads-up which helped ** plan. Everyone from the company president to the lowest worker were exceedingly polite, courteous, and very helpful. The paint team was just so good that we are hiring them to finish the rest of our house when we move in a few months. I taught a graduate college course on leadership so I am always interested in how the subordinates feel about working for this company. I heard nothing but positive comments. The common theme is of high expectations of quality work by the president and the fact the workers feel appreciated and taken care-of is an indication of a high-performing organization. My wife and I feel like North Alabama Restorations treated us like we were family and cared about the quality of their work. I highly recommend this company if you want a quality job done in a very professional manner.

North Alabama ********************************** is a great company to work with, professional tradesmen, engaging owner and timely execution of work and schedule. We felt they did the work as if they were doing it for their own home. They went the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction. We highly recommend them!

If anyone is thinking about working here, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS JOB! THEY DON'T PAY YOU THE FULL AMOUNT FOR ROOFING. THERE ARE WORKERS OUT HERE THAT DIDN'T RECEIVE A CHECK/CASH FOR TWO WEEKS! THIS ISN'T THE ONLY OCCASION. THIS HAD HAPPENED BEFORE WITH OTHER WORKERS WHO QUIT THIS BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THE PAY. THIS IS ALSO ILLEGAL FOR THEM NOT TO PAY YOU THE FULL AMOUNT THAT IS SUPPOSED TO. IF ANYONE IS GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING, REPORT THEM TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR ASAP!!

North Alabama just completed work from my dishwasher leaking. They went above and beyond what the insurance company required. I am so happy with the finished product. I was able to have my floors replaced due to the water damage. They helped me with the selections to make sure I got what I wanted. Also- got to pick and some new paint colors.

The ladies in the office were very pleasant. Mark and his guys were awesome each day. They stayed on top of the work and finished two days earlier than they expected.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I hope my dishwasher doesn't break down again- but if it does- North Alabama will be handling my repairs.

North Alabama Restorations went beyond what we expected. Mark Jewell, the owner, went above and beyond on each part of our project. He and his employees became like family to us, from the top to the bottom. We had a flood in our home and they came the same day the insurance sent them our claim They packed all our belongings and when the job was done, they placed them back in. Mark was on the job site daily. We give them a 10+! Thank you North Alabama Restorations. you have certainly went above proving what a real professional business is. ***** *******

I had a water leak. My insurance agent recommended North Alabama Restorations. I was worried because I have never gone through anything like this before. He assured me they would take great care of me. THEY DID. Jenard showed up to prepare an estimate and talked me through what would happen. He took his time and made sure that I understood the process. He also explained the time frame to me.

When the crew showed up they had a project manager with them. His name was Mark. This manager was there every day to make sure they did the work right. He talked with me each day. He also made sure I knew who was coming and what time. Being a young female- I appreciated knowing who to look for each day.

They completed all work as agreed. IT LOOKED GREAT. I could not tell a difference where the damage happened. Everyone I dealt with there was super friendly. I would highly recommend them.

I hired Mr. ****** and the team at North Alabama Restorations to complete the work on our home after we came home to a devastating water loss. They made the process so much easier, I cannot say enough good things about the communication and the good work that they did. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that has an insurance loss.
